    • @@pambritz3166 Yes that was funny. I think maybe her parenting skills are due to the fact that she is still so young. She and Gentaro (Kyoto zoo) are about the same age and he is a handful for his mom.

  • I love how cute Tayari is both when she players with little J and he husband. 😍 It is normal for primates to do various things to maintain their place in hierarchy. They use different gestures to signal to the others who is on the top.The dominant female gorilla will demand the attention of the silverback for that reason. Plus Tayari have been infatuated with D'jeeco from the very beginning. That does not mean that she hates her sister, or wants to harm her, or that she wants to prevent Iriki and D'jeeco from ever interacting. In this species a male has multiple female, and while the dominant female maintains the relationship of being the closest one to him, but she does not normally monopolise the access to him. Sometimes D'jeeco and Iriki sit together and Tayari just does her own thing. 🦍 我喜歡Tayari擁有小J和他的丈夫時多麼可愛。😍 靈長類動物做各種事情來維持自己在等級制度中的位置是正常的。 他們使用不同的手勢向其他處於頂峰的人發出信號。 再加上Tayari從一開始就迷上了D'jeeco。 這並不意味著她討厭她的姐姐 ，或者想傷害她，或者她不想阻止Iriki和D'jeeco進行互動。 在這個物種中，雄性有多個雌性，而優勢雌性保持著與他最親近的關係，但是她通常不會壟斷與他的聯繫。 有時D'jeeco和Iriki坐在一起，而Tayari只是做她自己的事情。 🦍

    • Just need the Kyoto Zoo to provide the Momotaro gorilla family with a decent enclosure. No green and gorillas don't live in sand 24/7. I have applied pressure but everyone needs to tweet or email the zoo and Kyoto City officials.

  • Love the commentary with the video. D’Jeeco and Iriki be thinking Tayari is cray-cray. Tayari only seems interested in Jabali when she wants to play or is bored. She’s so rough with him. Hopefully he learns from watching D’Jeeco on how to treat female gorillas rather than his crazy mother. And I believe that Iriki is only a month older than Tayari so Tayari really isn’t that young to be a mother. She’s just not very maternal (at least in what is shown to us).

  • Tay aged 10 years old, is doing it her way. Jabali is healthy, alert & thriving. She loves him and he loves her ❤️ Like us human Mums, Tay, who is a young but certainly unique young female, is learning on the job and making mistakes but also showing great enthusiasm for the role including playing with the baby. Tay....keep going and keep doing it your way 😘 Jabali is safe and in strong arms ( or leg 😘)

  • Tayari doesn't treat her baby carefully. She fails to hold him. One of these days she may cause injuries to him, poor baby. I feel so sorry for the baby, his mother doesn't look to be attached to him :(

    • Tayari just turned 10, she is from Apenual primate breeding program... This is her 1st baby, 6 mths old... The other female is her half sister Iriki who is due any day now... She's a real character for sure & loves the big fella DJ...😘✌️

  • This was suggested I guess cause I watch the Momotaro family so much. I didn't enjoy this family and this baby drug around and ignored by mama. All the cute captions & music made it seem sweeter than it is 🤨.

    • What's crazy is you see how well these other families of gorillas are fed but not momotaro and Genki family all they are fed is grass

    • @@petercan1020 I am tired to see comments about the food of Momotaro’s family. I am sure the zoo is doing the best for them, taking into account the problems of Genki and her mouth. AND, you only have to see the good shape of Momotaro and the kids. Momotaro has muscles strong like no other… he is very huge and strong.

    • @@raquel_cb_ I have been following them for years the only thing they are fed during the day is grass and sometimes in the summertime you'll see a block of ice with some fruit in it if you look at the other zoos the other gorillas are given such a better diet a wide variety of vegetables. You can't tell me that's the best that you can do.

  • Can someone answer this question please. Why do tayari want to mate so badly, jabali is not even 1year old yet and she wants to mate with d jeeco all the time and she gets very upset when she can't get her way with him. Would she get pregnant right away why the rush.

    • About every 4 yrs they can get pregnant...she is 10 & wants to have some fun. She didn't have a choice when she got pregnant.

  • 不太懂 寶寶在市立動物園長大生活這麼久 把他送到荷蘭傳宗接代 雖然是好事 當初說為什麼不幫他找老婆來台灣 動物園說母的適應能力不好 長途跋涉距離會有危險 寶寶單身這麼久 結果找了迪亞哥做伴 結果寶寶被送走了 園方現在竟然找兩個老婆來台灣給迪亞哥 而且哪兩隻也是荷蘭送過來的 啊寶寶是.......而且寶寶是ㄧ個完全野生物種的血統 然後送給荷蘭了......不太懂木柵動物園的做法

    • 寶寶是野生金剛猩猩，可以增加外族群的基因多樣性，寶寶送去荷蘭有六隻母猩猩幫牠傳宗接代以利排解猩猩瀕危的壓力，而且荷蘭動物園又大，牠在那邊過得好的話也是好事
