We got KNOCKED OUT on our Gorilla Trek in Uganda!
Our DREAM came true! We had the privilege of spending a hour in the presence of the majestic Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda.
It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget. Especially our close encounter with the Father of the group.
Mountain Gorilla Trekking can only be done in Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. Permits vary depending on the country. In Uganda the permit costs $750. Uganda is more expensive costing around $1500. Currently, it is not advised to do gorilla trekking in Congo.
The company we went with is called Vacation Safaris. Shout out to our guide Billy for an unforgettable experience.

We suddenly realized to many bugs
It was actually not that bad 😅
These gorillas are so beautiful and hilarious to watch they play, but yet incredibly dangerous.. I wish I could do of these tours to watch them in person.. The father was just protecting his family with a warning.. gotta respect him, it’s their world, we just live in it.. I don’t think he would of killed anyone.. what a wild adventure you had.. glad none was seriously hurt ❤️🙏🏽
The gorillas are an amazing creatures. No one was really in danger. The guides were really professional and respectful. We might have been a bit dramatic🙂 We hope you will have the chance to do this trip @louielouie9768❤️
A joy to see

Would be so cool but I couldn’t handle the bugs 🐞
It is still 100% worth it! Bring insect spray and you’ll be ok 😊

Thank you @ismaeilbensouda-ep1wt! Drones are restricted in many African countries. Make sure you check the latest regulations. Also, there are some areas where drones are prohibited in Uganda. Enjoy your travels!
Yes you can, register it with authorities at the airport
