I just hope Samsung opts for an improved 5X-10X optical zoom for the S25 Ultra. 3X optical zoom doesn't really cut it anymore.

@@vignneshnaidu no, your lack of knowledge is hilarious. 3X optical zoom doesn't mean it's worse than the S23 Ultra. The 5x telephoto also has better optical image stabilization, and thanks to the 50MP sensor, 8K recording is made possible at both 1x and 5x zoom (though the frame rate is still limited to 30 fps for 8K videos). S23 Ultra's 3x telephoto handled zoom up to 10x, and its lowly 10-megapixel resolution meant that quality took a notable dip past the 5x point. They could have made 50X Optical zoom and you casuals would think it's better NOW. LMFAO Only CASUALS like you think the Number 3X, 5X and has NO IDEA what goes on actually. Then you cry ABOUT why it'snot good. S24 Ultra is already at BEST with iPhone 15 Pro Max. 15 Pro Max is little better at close shot and S24 Ultra is better at long distances. So the OP's logic on why it'snot better at optical zoom while S24 Ultra is actually #1 is hilarious. You guys don't have the phones or IQ to see comparsion videos then you're here talking non-sense. Those were only necessary for the mainstream audience when phone internal sizes were smaller. Like 32gb. With cloud storage and such high capacities being available for 7 or so years it's just not that important to dedicate space to.

I discovered now that i can now have RCS messaging with my friends who is not samsung, my friend has google pixel and we can do RCS. Its so cool, i was fan of apple before and hesitamt to switch before because i message but now i think RCS is way better.

Good software should always be underpinned by the cutting-edge technology of the time. What should not be happening is software pulling double duty (i.e., AI) to act as a refusal to implement innovative hardware. This is a prime example of corporate greed, prioritizing shareholder satisfaction over reasonable consumer expectations. Simply put, they should be listening to their customers. A classic example with the S23 Ultra, besides being capable of doing 90+% of the software tricks the S24 Ultra can do, is a regression in areas (namely the camera) by reducing the focal length from 100 to half of that and then digitally cropping while using AI to effectively end up at square one - to arguably worse results. This is not good enough considering most would have accepted a reduced native focal length by adopting technology that is not all that new-popularized by Sony-via a very promising lossless zoom attempt going from 3x to 5x with a sensor that can be laid flat, therefore bigger while relying less on a cluster of sensors with variations in quality/dynamic range between them. This would especially be an improvement in the seamlessness of zooming in video without any noticeable traditional degradation, as cropping is traditionally applied. The added benefit is that one or two fewer sensors would free up larger sensors overall, including the outdated sizes when the rest of the market has been pushing for closer to 1" sensors for well over a year now. It is not good enough.

Even if the 8 Gen 4 can't beat the A18 Pro in single-core performance, let's keep in mind that a chipset isn't just about that. Multicore processing, GPU power, and NPUs play a big role too. Plus, that supposed A18 Pro benchmark leak? It's not exactly coming from a reliable source.
@@TechTalkTV no for smartphones single core matters more and even genshin impact is a cpu bound game meaning the GPU will be held by the cpu and this is where the IPC matters for Qualcomm to get that score they will have to clock it to 4.3 GHz compared to 4 but to achieve that they need to get to 1.3 volts which is very high for a mobile cpu
@@TechTalkTV well i saw, many people just buy iPhones only for gaming. Cuz of its powerful CPU. Its already known that, most games are CPU dependant rather than GPU. Every console games and AAA games are also CPU dependant. Thats why AAA games released first on iPhone. So ig, Apple is really not focusing on GPU that much cuz some of their customers just buy iPhones for gaming. Qualcomm should really improve their CPU if they want to really compete with Apple. Otherwise they are shooting their foot themselves

Sure thing! Many older folks manage just fine with smartphones, but it depends on how tech-savvy and physically comfortable they are. If your dad's up for it, you can find simpler smartphones with bigger buttons or touchscreens that might suit him. They usually cost around $50 to $100. Just make sure to help him get the hang of it, and he'll be texting and calling in no time!
