Failed Champ Threatens Pogacar in Gangsta Style 😂

Tadej Pogacar will not race Itzulia 2024 against Jonas Vingegaard, Remco Evenepoel or Primoz Roglic but neither Tour of Flanders 2024 won by world champion Mathieu Van der Poel or Paris Roubaix 2024, however, the former cyclist and failed attempt to win Tour de France, Tejay Vangarderen, has dared to threaten Pogi in the program of the confessed doped, Christian Vande Velde, one of the most legendary and at the same time forgotten gregarious of Lance Armstrong, Ivan Basso or Alberto Contador. Why did he do it? We analyze his story and why everyone has criticized his absurd words towards Tadej Pogacar.

    • Did anyone see Cortina when he got off the bike at Flanders going up that cobbled climb? It looked like he had to turn a motor off, but it was still going when he lifted the rear wheel. The pedals started moving. It was very odd to see and I encourage everyone to go back and watch it and tell me that it doesn’t look like he’s turning off something (motor).

    • @@Rick-zx2ikyeah, i did too and it crossed my mind. But remember he cld have caught the pedal when he picked his bike up and he would have been switching to a smaller gear to start climbing again. Also, if he wld have been checked if he won. But yeah, at tge time it looked dodgy.

    • @@cyclinghighlights as you can tell by reading my comments, like you I love cycling and have a memory like an elephant. Gewiss and MG-GB seem like yesterday. Few people remember the real reason for MAPEI dominance, remember, it was because of their science/performance laboratory in Milan (I think) where they were looking for those minute advantages, the ones USPS and Lance found by perfecting Diet and cutting edge bikes/ equipment. A few years later, like MAPEI and USPS, SKY called it "marginal gains", now UAE and VISMA are picking and choosing to use a little something from all the previous cheats - why wouldn't they, they're both organized and managed by cheats. A good memory, an objective appreciation of the racers (no fanboys allowed) and a desire for clean racing is all it takes, to call out the cheats while still enjoying the racing - dirty as it is.

  • Excellent tying together the many threads of guilty dopers. You mentioned TJ's wheel-sucking, follow the leader, never go-for-it style - very much like one of his riders now, RIGO. His "white-out" is very similar to McNulty at UAE Tour earlier this spring when he inexplicably could not spin the pedals while in the leaders jersey. Same thing happen to Vine (another UAE doper at UAE tour last year 1 week after dominating TDU). A bad bag of blood, or the incorrect "vitamin" dosage will do that to you.

  • @cyclinghighlights Can we please get a part 2 on this video? On stage 8 of the Giro, Eurosport went absolutely batsh*tz on Pogi winning too much. Dan Lloyd, & Sean Kelly went all in on this craziness. They even had Rob Hatch pressured into repeating some of their tomfoolery. The gaul these guys have to repeat the Teejay Van Garderen propaganda on the day they have Jonathan Vaughters as guest on the show and live commentary! 😡 We spend our weekends watching cycling and racing because we're fans. Generationally, if we are super lucky we are witnesses to greatness. This is one of those times. @cyclinghights it's up to you to save the peloton & cycling itself from these egomaniacs. I can’t listen to the lame commentators tell us and convince us that somehow bikes are so much faster and somehow nutrition is even better which is why they’re going as fast as they went in the EPO era.
