It says a lot about intelligent animals, they probably almost never see humans, they obviously don't see him as prey, so they have no reason to fear him, he's just a curious, warm body to snuggle up to. :)

David Kenseth: Yeah, his intentions are so outlandishly weird, not freaking out the wildlife by making himself look small, enjoying interacting with friendly creatures. There's actually nothing questionable about this. Just a very lucky person that these creatures found endearing.
