- True fact from the french director, 5 years ago, they started this project, it wasn't supposed to be a starfox game (made by ubisoft, in france (yeaaaaaah)). During the e3 they shew their game, after, guys from nintendo came to speak with em. They came 5 times ! When they (the ubi team) came back to their center, they received a letter from big N. They wanted the ubi team to go to tokyo and meet shigeru myiamoto to present their game. Shigeru loved and asked em to put starfox in the game, so nintendo support this game like they did with mario kingdom battle with the rabbids !

Fox seems like a such a big part of this game. The versions on other platforms just seem so empty without him, almost in a "why even bother?" type of case. You'd think the PS4 version would contain Ratchet and Clank in Team Star Fox's place but nope, all vanilla expect for Switch. Unless you don't have a Switch, I see no reason to even glance at the other versions.

- Honestly I'd rather have them continue with the current continuity and do something different to reintroduced Krystal. Maybe the next game can be about the rest of the Lylat system being invaded by the Saurians, led by General Scales and his lieutenants, the Dimond Hide Vanguard (one of whom is Krystal), who are in search of shards of a giant crystal that contains the power of the Krazoa Spirits. The Star Fox Team now operates in three teams Foxtrot, Fox, Slippy, and Falco. Omega, Peppy and ROB on the Great Fox. X-Ray, Miyu, Fay, and some new guy. Early in the story when the Star Fox Team first runs into the Dimond Hide Vanguard, Fox and Krystal end up forming a slight telepathic bond and the two develop a star crossed romance throughout the story. At the end, after defeating the rest of the Dimond Hide Vanguard (with Krystal's help) and helping the Cornerian Army push back the Saurians, the Star Fox Team prepares to take the Krazoa shards to Corneria but Krystal betrays Fox's trust and snags the shards, taking them to General Scales who re-forges the Crystal. But it turns out that everything was just Andross's plans who brushes General Scales aside and takes the Krazoa power for himself. Krystal realize everything was a ruse and that Andross dose not have Sauria's well being in mind flees and meets up with The Star Fox Team who are obviously not happy to see her but she gets through to them when she reveals that Andross is behind everything. The team and Krystal fight through Sauria and get to Andross, Krystal seemingly kills herself to make an opening for Fox and Fox defeats Andross. With Andross's defeat the Krazoa crystal shatters and the shards fly off back to space, the team celebrates but Fox is rattled by Krystal self sacrifice but he feels her presence and she is revealed to be alive, happy ending. After the credits we get a scene showing Wolf returning from Atlas with a Legionized ship.

You know, they could've just shoved Fox right in without making him feel a part of their universe, but after watching Vinny play it, Ubi really went the extra mile to at least make him feel like a part of it all, even if to an extent. The extra dialogue and interactions weren't necessary, but they did it. That's pretty awesome of them, to be brutally honest.

This game is AMAZING! I've been boycotting Ubisoft games for 2 years, I broke it for this game and I do not regret it. It is what I always wanted and imagined when I played Star Fox 64. NINTENDO, please use this to make a really ambitious new Star Fox game! I want to go back to the Lylat System. I will buy it!

4 years later. Please for the Love of God get a StarFox game put in production. Mario movie alone showed you there is a place for this franchise in cinema as well. Tech has progressed so much give us new StarFox remake our classics for the modern gens.

This game is CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED. This is one of my favorite games of all time. The environment, voice acring, open world, open space... so amazing. I have 450 hours on this game.

I suddenly just realized, the arwing in Starlink is a blend of the designs of the arwings from star fox 64/sfa and the arwings from Assault

The fact that this game effectively became a new StarFox game is just honestly kismet. The sales for this game on other platforms was abysmal, something like 92% of sales were on the Switch version. Effectively making this a StarFox game.

- Don't get technical with me. SF64 isn't as well known as SF SNES, so it's basically 64 in terms of gameplay as it has things like all-range mode. So games like Zero were 64 rehashes.
