  • the Copenhagen card is a great value for people who want to see the castles, a lot of museums and Tivoli since that is the most expensive tours , especially for people going to the cities outside Copenhagen like Elsinore castle(Kronborg) Frederiksborg castle in Hillerød and Viking Museum plus Chathedral where most Kings are burried in Rosklide ect. then it's great best for people staying more than 48 hours and you need a plan to see most and be aware of closing hours! and things in the same area so you don't waste time going back and forth --for people spending a lot of time shopping and walking around it's better to skip it --if I went to such a historic city I would see as much as possible

    • Generally the Metro or "S tog" (local trains) are BY FAR the most efficient to get around, so my advise is to ignore buses unless you want to go to a site without Metro or S tog.

    • @miless1455 it's my pleasure to make these videos. Let me gather the names of a few eateries add get them to you. In the mean time I have these lists in Google Maps that may be of use.. They are places I frequented and enjoyed whilst I lived here. As for Noma, short of knowing the Owner/ Chef, your best bet is to get into the website for reservations that open 3 months early if I remember. However, I would suggest Geranium has nicer food, though Noma is more out there. And if you want a more affordable experience but still fantastic try the Gro Spiseri. maps.app.goo.gl/hjRWq6wd9ArHQTrk6 maps.app.goo.gl/BX9x5vXNUzWR9THH8 maps.app.goo.gl/FXxgifvtweYwEdVi7 maps.app.goo.gl/HG3gq8byJJ4v2ViE6 maps.app.goo.gl/A8c3L5xpVnzSZDXF6 Enjoy!

  • 17:25: "My" station (Lergravsparken) when I lived in Copenhagen. What did you do there? Not a hotspot for tourists. 🙂 Hahaha... many years ago in and around the vicinity of Copenhagen Main Station there was an African guy who told everybody that he was a refugee from South Africa and he just arrived to Denmark three days ago. Now he needed money to visit his relatives, or so, I don't remember why he wanted money. I met him often over several years, always same story. I found it rather interesting, and he never got money from me. Pick pocketing is not a very great problem. It can happen, but Copenhagen is quite safe.

    @hassanalihusseini1717@hassanalihusseini171710 ай бұрын
    • Hi there! Yes you are right Lergravsparken is definitely not a tourist hotspot 😁 When I was here I have been carrying out some work here. It was a nice residential location so was happy here. I think you are right that pick poketing is not as rife as elsewhere and it is generally a very very safe city. But saying that, there were a few colleagues I worked with who did have items stolen from crowded buses and metros. As tourists (or not looking like locals) I think we perhaps attract more attention and being a little aware even in such a cool safe place is not necessarily a bad thing. I have also had a chain stolen from around my neck one evening as someone bumped into me pretending to be drunk as I came to Copenhagen my first time 😒 Thanks for watching and taking part in the discussion it's really nice that you guys take part!! 🤗

  • Thank you for the informative infos you'd shared with us especially first timers coming in to Copenhagen. I was quite surprise there is no Bolt or Uber in the country due to laws. Only Viggo is available but again it is pricey considering Copenhagen is one of the of expensive cities in Europe😅. The metro system network seems pretty straight forward and not huge like Berlin. I think I might getting the 24hr small city pass + single journey tickets or 48hrs small city pass as I will be visiting Copenhagen in Jan 2024 soon for nights only 😊. I hope the city is very walkable and compact for tourists.

    @drumstix33@drumstix33 Жыл бұрын
    • If you know the exact location and stop in the city centre then I'd say go for single ticket location to location. If however you will be travelling through the center and need to get to a place a little further north then you're better with a 3 zone ticket. Again both of these are single journey tickets. If you know you're going to be using the metro more in the 24 hours or longer then consider the city pass for 3 zones and the period of days you will need. I've tried to explain this later in the video too. Thanks for watching and hope this helps! 😊

  • If you’re at a metro where there are multiple trains arriving at multiple platforms, how do you know which is the train you should take. I’m thinking the Norreboro station. It didn’t look like the destination or direction was on the side of the train, nor on any overhead signs.

    @larissatom6910@larissatom69109 ай бұрын
    • Sorry for the late reply. Both on the train a nd metro platforms, there are screens on each side. For Metros they generally state the end destination (direction) or on the circular line give an indication of the direction by which staion it is passing along the way. For trains there is a screens which gives the trains, destination and platform as well as screens on each platform with the destination of the next train. All platforms are also marked (Spoor = Platform). Hope this helps 😊

You buy it on the app and activate it there on the day you start and should always have your app with you in case they check. So make sure you have enough battery on your phone as even a depleted phone can get you a fine. Hope this helps
