I have a tire I save any thing paper in and at the end of week I shred a garbage bag full ( because we have 2 babies) it's money saving and less smelly and way easier to clean just thought I would send you this hack have great day love you show keep it up Barb Reed.

  • I loved it when Mr. Otis, agreed with you. I got the sock organizer for the guy, I been seeing. It works wonders in his dresser drawer. My Dad, used to use odor ban, to wash out his trailer. To get the seafood smell out before he went to get his next load. It worked, but I hate the smell of odor ban. I was in the emergency room, one night when the cleaning lady come in to clean the room I was in. ( my vein blew and blood shot across the room). She was using odor ban, I had to beg them to change my room. I can't stand it. I rather just smelled straight bleach instead. I been using the brillo hack since you shown it last year. Thanks for sharing all the great hacks. May you have a Blessed day.

  • Another hack for cleaning sterling silver jewelry is to line a heat proof baking glass pan with aluminum foil. Sprinkle baking soda over the foil, place jewelry you want to clean on top of the soda. Cover jewelry with boiling water and let jewelry set a few minutes. Remove and rinse. If addition cleaning needed, return to the hot water a little longer.

  • Oh Jamie! Hun! Let me help you for a change 😊 it looks like you have TONS of vertical space in the cabinets above your fridge! You could customize some shelves from DT using plastic bins or shelves to create more storage for yourself! Also, with your socks issue, why not keep a few pair in your glovebox OR in a bin by your door to grab on your way out? Something similar to a plastic grocery bag storage system. This is an amazing video BTW! I will be trying many of these ideas - the first will be the windshield wiper hack! Give Otis a treat & kiss for me! Take care!!

  • Hi Jamie. What a wonderful video of awesome hacks. Thank you for sharing this with us. I use the utensil holder in my bedroom for my phone and tablet. I slip each one in a slot and charge them up. I also have one of them on my table beside my front door. That one is used for mail, memos, grocery list etc. Therefore, I can grab whatever is in the slot for the day before I leave the house. I'm wondering if the flour sack item would make a great DIY kitchen window curtain? My kitchen window is small and curtains not blinds are an easy find for it. Anywho... stay safe and fabulous. ❤️

  • You can take the foil and ball it up and put them in the dryer with your clothes and it will keep you from having static snaps. I use two at a time and I use them about 8 10 times before I replace them but if you do more laundry than I do you might want to change them out. Also you can add some cut up cloth in them with your favorite oils to get a fresh smell. I love getting one that is called linen scent and I love lavender oils for my bedding. Do not soak the cloth just a couple drops is all it takes. Blessings!

  • Be SUPER CAREFUL with essential oils with cats!!! Almost ALL of them are TOXIC to kitties. I found this out after I had used them for years and felt sooo bad for my babies 😿 Pure lavender is ok. 😸
