The lineal championship is considered by many to be the true title to hold. The man who beat the man. Dating all the way back to the first true champion and carried threw to the current reigning lineal champ. This video covers every exchanging of the crown, every time a new Lineal Champion was established, every comeback, knockout, controversy, upset, historic reign, or one hit wonder. Jack Dempsey, Mike Tyson, George Foreman, Muhammad Ali, Rocky Marciano, Joe Louis, Tyson Fury, and everybody in between. From the earliest filmed boxing events in history, which also happen to be the earliest filmed things in history...to modern day.

Thanks for watching! I did this video 2+ years ago, had several pieces of music muted by claims, so I've gone back in and replaced the music so this video which I really love can still be viewed. The older version is still available.
Cause nobody does it like JV. Nobody 😮
Can we get a sugar Shane Mosely video
Hopefully you'll have to go back in and add a little more after February.
I was wondering why I could never hear “schmeling was a hell of a fighter”
"Nobody does it better". That for sure..
I speak for everyone when I say please never stop making boxing videos.
TRUEEE
Amen!
I second that!
Please
Facts 🥊
Joe Vincent is the undisputed lineal champ of sports docs
Who the fock is that guy???
The undisputed Lineal champ with most title defences ever
Amen!
💯
And mixedmolly of mma
Larry Holmes had one of the greatest runs of any heavyweight champion. Definitely one of the most underrated fighters in prime.
That's what happens when you shatter the image of people's heros. (Ali)
@@brandonwalker6781 he didn't shatter the image at all ,Larry felt he was not given his due long before the Ali fight ,but it's still a little bit of a myth because if you watch his fights he(Larry) was always praised
@@brandonwalker6781 Ali was shattered long before he fought Holmes though
Absolutely! The way no one discusses him as an all time great is a disgrace. Larry Holmes didn’t want to fight an aging, debilitated Muhammad Ali, and he certainly didn’t want to hurt him. He wanted the referee to stop the fight so he didn’t have to hit him anymore. It’s a shame people had animosity towards Larry Holmes.
George Foreman coming back was just wow!!

Thank you Joe Vincent - people need to see the quality of these videos 🙌🏿
The Ali part of this video was immaculately presented. I gained a new perspective on parts of his story. It's rare to hear unique and interesting 'takes' about the greats since there's usually a saturation of vidros about them. Great work my friend!❤🎉🙏🏾
Then you should watch Joseph Vincent's video on Ali. Absolutely a masterpiece.
@@Hallmightybest Ali documentary I have seen in 15 years
No it wasn't immaculately presented they skipped a whole part, when Ali came back he fought Joe Frazier not George Foreman, they left out the part where Frazier kicked Ali's ass
@@tyn833And Ali kick Frazier ass twice 😂😂😂
@@Pey-Gang He Didn't't just kick his ass he was in a battle for his life against a man that whipped his ass before and he just became victorious and you can't tell me that Ali wasn't glad that fight was over
What few videos I have seen of Tommy Burns, he seemed like a pretty decent heavyweight for a smaller guy. Until he met up with Jack Johnson of course. I think it was despicable the way Sonny Liston was treated. He had every right to be heavy weight champion. The precision of “Clay’s” demolition of Liston is a thing of pugilistic beauty as well as his (Ali’s)victory over George Foreman. I love your slo-mo and different angles. A flawless presentation. Excellent work!
its not in this video but the speech Ali gives to his corner before the foreman fight is one of the greatest unscripted motivational speeches ever
Foreman's comeback always make me chocked up
26 rounds of the same 2 people fighting all in one fight sounds insane
The record is fucking 109 rounds and was a draw
Rounds were different back then though, not 3 Minute rounds. It was often decided by action, so a round could get by with out anything happening basically, or get called a round when a major punch landed. Still insane, off course
@@jpesmar The end of a round was when someone was knocked down even thought they got back up
@@garrettmarshall7664 Why did you say the "F" word?
They were insane back then
I happy you didn't fold during the lock down, I know you were on the ropes , but like true champions you came back and have been knocking em down, keep up the great work buddy
A new Joseph Vincent video is absolutely a stop down moment as soon as possible for me. I get super excited when I see that he has made another masterpiece!
You use that Mike Tyson “perfect timing” quote as often as people put mustard on hotdogs. Love the videos.
Boom perfect timing
And it never gets old lol
19:00 love how sonny never sat down between rounds, until that first fight with MA.
From this point forward, this should be required viewing for any boxing fan
Absolutely!
By far the best documentary channel on KZhead
I'm up to the Foreman/Moore fight so far, but already I can say this is one of your best.
I speak for majority of your viewers when I say, keep doing boxing videos. We love them.
The effort that's gone into this video is UNBELIEVABLE! Thank you for this excellent documentary 👌... and the AI Ringside Reporter is a touch of beauty! Fantastic!
Just brilliant. So well put together. Marciano! Not spoken about enough. Incredible.
My question, why didn't Walcott go to the body? When a person stands in like that from head shots the answer is body shots.
Amazing work! Thank you JV👏
I really love this- this is one of my favorite KZhead videos. Fascinating line of champions!!
Thank you for this masterpiece, what a beautiful video
One of the best boxing videos ever made!!! This could have been 10 hours long & I'd have loved every second of it!! Brilliant 👍🏽
Beautiful video. Thank you.
What a quality boxing video this is! Great work, JV!🥊
Thanks for the amazing video ❤
Absolutely fanatastic vid you basically summarised 100+ years of boxin' keep grindin dont reach somewhere and quit ....you are dping something you are helping...much love jo vincent❤
Thank you for brilliance as always.
Love this channel, love these videos. Appreciate your work.
I always loved this video! Do you think you could do it for the other weight classes?
Great idea!
Welterweight !
Another fantastic production. Outstanding for me.👍👍
That was super entertaining! Brilliantly done!
I hope you keep making videos forever. Everything you put out is perfect.
Thank you for this video😉
Good work on this one. I do believe some fighters got too much coverage and others too little, but that's just taste and you can't argue taste. I'm impressed with the amount of research and work you put into it!
I 've liked it too much your videos. Congratulations and thanks for sharing
Great video. Thanks for reposting.
This is the most beautiful cinematic piece that has ever blessed my eyes
so great as always
Amazing job. Awesome video
Boom 💥 Perfect Timing Keep Up The Good Work Joe Vincent
I absolutely love this video not only for the history but the amount of work you’ve always put into your videos very well done. I gotta say my favorite part Hass to be Rocky Marciano being from Brockton Massachusetts myself I would always hear about him, and now I can truly say, and know how great he was.
Love your work man. You’re my king 😩
Amazing documentary as always
Bro, this is fantastic!
This is real journalism. Well done, mate. Rare to see nowadays.
Idk how you got all these clips but you the goat for making this
What a fantastic video, well done
Great video 🎉🎉
Great film keep up the good work 👏
Would love Joe Vincent to do a “Road to undisputed” video. Going through all the fights of consequence, belts changing hand ect. From when Fury beat Klitschko through to Fury v Usyk
Here in Ga. On a Sunday, U.S. Didn't expect this. Thank you.
This is awesome. Please make a lineal champ video for ALL the weight classes.
This is a great vid. Well put together and very enjoyable.
I love these videos man!!!
This was great.. 👌
This is just way too good! 🔥
This video is amazing, it helps me sort it all out so clearly. The lineal title is truly the only one that matters and when viewed in this context, the Heavyweight Division makes sense. Anything or anyone that can make sense of that mess is a GODSEND.
Man, I love this documentary. i have read hundreds of books and articles about boxing and still learned a lot from this.
Yes joe. Look forward to every post brother. ✌️
Amazing video 🎉
Thank you for another badass gripping edge of your seat thrill ride. Thanks again.
I wish someone made MMA videos this detailed. These are amazingly put together. Thanks for the great boxing content!!!
You mean like MixedMollyWhoppery?
@@Smell_TheGlove oh? I’ll go have a look! Thanks!
@JermStone no problem buddy. He doesn't upload regularly but he does a lot of MMA & a little boxing
I dont like mma, but I would watch a video like this and who knows
Unreal. Best series on yt (boom perfect timing!)
I've learned more about boxing from Joe's videos than anywhere else. Love these.
Im a Huge boksing fan and itry see all the fight of boksning i can.. i really love this you hawe put together Werry well job
Subscribed, great content
Riddick Bowe might be the most underappreciated fighter of the 90's
His talent and strength were legendary. He just didn't have the long-term work ethic.
Subscribers to this channel have excellent taste and the content creator deserves a million subs. I'm not even a fan or follower of boxing. I'm from Texas where we watch stick and ball sports. I couldn't rip my eyes away from this video! So well made!
Some of the best content on YT, keep up the great work.
Tyson Fury is not the lineal champion of the world, after the klitshko fight he retired which meant he relinquished his belt otherwise logically the belt ended with Marciano, Usyk is the current Lineal champion of the world, that's the rules, if you retire you relinquish that title and coming back out of retirement doesn't mean you get it back.
Vincent can you please do a video on yoel Romero? I would love it I've been watching your videos for sometime now and I can't get enough of them. But I know you'll kill it. How your able to take a video and just break it down with everything the good and the bad of the individual is genius and I feel you need more recognition for your creativity. I thank you for these videos you create your amazing. Please keep them coming. Like your Derrick Rose video amazing.
Love these boxing videos!!!
Great video
Dope video idea
Always always coming through with fire videos 🔥🔥🔥
Great video. Great era for heavyweight boxing today. Don’t let anyone tell us different. Heavyweight boxing has always and will always be the biggest and best
The legend of making us these videos
Love you videos! Can you also make on different weight division also?
Believe it or not, one of my very favorites in his prime among this parade of all-time greats and lineal HW champions? Riddick Bowe I loved his combination of size, quickness, athleticism, and entertainment value. Round 10 in his first fight w/Holyfield is one of the greatest I have seen.
Do you not watching much boxing then😂
@@leonardhpls6For over 5 decades. Why don't you explain your comment? It doesn't seem to make much sense.
What an excellent video.
This video is brilliant
Great vid jo
Class, as per usual.
💯💯 Joseph Vincent always with the docs
Amazing!
Did Tyson really deserve more time than every champion from John L Sullivan to Joe Louis? Really? Jeffries got all of two seconds for crying out loud!
It's more relevant as people know Tyson
Il bet there is twice as much Tyson footage, as there is of every champ from john l Sullivan to joe Louis
@stuartsmillie8175 This isn't a film compilation, it's a documentary
@eclipse7436 No, Mike is no more relevant to this documentary than any other lineal champion. Also, Documentaries aren't supposed to teach you about things you already know 💀
@@markhemmingworthchannel338 Its a video for enetertainment puprposes. The creator calls it a video not a documentary, maybe you just expected it to be something it was never going to be. Il keep checking your channel for your improved video on the history of the heavyweight lineage.
great movie, thank you
The fact that your videos are more entertaining then boxing itself speaks volumes.
We’ve had awesome super bowls, nba finals, Stanley cups and World Series but anytime they are good- it’s referred to as a Heavyweight fight. None of them hold a candle to what we saw in Fury-Wilder 3, among the countless heavyweight fights in this video.
@@NeverSober8008 fury wilder 3 😂 you must be young and new to boxing kid
@@leonardhpls6 Getting pretty close to 30 years old, I wasn’t old enough to watch Tyson or Lennox Lewis live. So if you consider that young, I guess so
Superb!
Another Masterpiece!!!
Man immediately I watch your videos I always want to do a little shadow boxing to kill the hype😅Keep up the good work💪
Undisputed lineal champion of KZhead. What a vid.
Boom! Perfect timing!!
This video is great, Although I wish you could’ve put the date on the fight next to the fighter in question, That would’ve made it even better
Whoa perfect timing!
Aside from the history of the title changes, I love that this is like seeing the evolution of boxing. The olden times looked wild, boxers tend to fight with a lowered guard.
guys weighing 180-190 and being heavyweight champion of the world really shows how much the division has changed.
Boom! Perfect timing.
