    • Like Laettner’s shot vs Kentucky. Obviously It’s not as spectacular as a full-court game winner to punch your Final 4 ticket, but I feel like a 30-0 run is actually tougher to accomplish and shows an absolute dominance like nothing else can.

They aren't terrible by any means (their defense is tho) but they just aren't nearly as good as i think a lot of people gave them credit for by beating a really, really bad big ten this year.

  • This was an Annihilation. The UCONN Huskies are Juggernaut programs in both Men's and Women's basketball. From Coach Jim Calhoun to Kevin Hollie to now Dan Hurley in Men's Basketball, and the incomparable Gino Auriemma in Women's Basketball, they are on another level. Storrs is rocking again. I used to live in Groton, CT and often drove to Storrs to watch the 1999 Men's NCAA and 2000 Women's NCAA champions every chance that I got, and the whole atmosphere was incredible. The entire state of Connecticut eats, breathes, and lives Huskies Basketball.

  • WOW! The UCONN MEN'S team is starting to look almost as dominant as the UCONN WOMEN'S team of 2014-2017. They have now won 10 straight NCAA tournament games against some VERY good teams, and their SMALLEST margin of victory in those 10 games is 13 points. That is absolutely INSANE! They are clearly playing at a level that is WAY above everyone else. I live in Big Ten country, and that is a VERY good Illinois team that UCONN completely destroyed. I think the UCONN men are going to be cutting down the nets for the second consecutive year, because they are simply better than everybody else - and by a really big margin.

  • The one thing that can stop UCONN is the whistle. Clingan did an amazing job playing sound defense throughout the 1st half to avoid a quick 2nd foul. If he picks up a quick 2 fouls, it leaves them vulnerable. I think Purdue is the only one that can stop them because of Edey's ability to draw fouls. Uconn has no one that can defend Edey if Clingan gets in foul trouble. I hope Clingan will avoid getting into foul trouble during this run. Go Huskies!

They didn't even with the Big East Tourney. So they really couldn't have been seeded higher than #4.....but as such were just laying in wait for everyone. Their non-conference play was top notch however in Nov-Dec.

  • Illinois went down on a tough note tonight but it was still a season to be proud of. Won the Big 10 tournament and reached the Elite 8 for the first time since 2005. This one will sting for a few days but after how collectively awful Chicago's pro teams have been recently watching Illinois the last few weeks get this far has been a welcome change. Uconn has become quite the buzzsaw in college basketball. I knew it was gonna take a perfect game to beat them and it just didn't happen. While it was rough to see it end this way it doesn't erase the all the positives they've given us the last few weeks.
