So I guess a whole bunch of us came looking for this performance after seeing her mention it on the Howard Stern interview with Metallica. It absolutely blows my mind, try telling someone in 2005 "Yeah the singer that plays Hannah Montana will be performing a Metallica song with the band in 15 years." She is so good in this performance, and knowing what it meant to her at that moment after just losing her house and knowing she was getting divorced.
Great, BUT, this was not her first concert after she lose her house, she had lied at Howard Stern about it, Miley love cheap useless lies.
She sounded a lot better here than she did on Stern's show. It's not even close.

I was never a fan of miley never but by god she's fukn amazing what a voice, definitely on the top ten woman artists of our times ......
She's decent, not horrible, not bad. Not a top 10. I can suggest a few rocker/metal singers who I personally think are redefining music. Floor Jansen (with Nightwish) Simone Simon's (with Epica) Those 2 are more operatic symphonic metal. A more pop/easier to digest musically would be, Elize Ryd (with Amaranthe)

I guess that its people who totally have missed out on all her genious work. Maybe they still think of her as Hannah Montana or a rebelling youth twerking on stage. Too bad for them. Miley is in fact a musical wonder! Her backyard sessions for instance...(every single one)... are pure art.
I've seen there's some video out there that I haven't watch yet that's about why the metal crowd is the happiest crowd. Seeing Miley's transformation and knowing what she's been through, I think metal is good therapy. It accepts all emotions, craziness and expressions. Generally nice, peaceful and tolerant people.

@@nazarklc8893 It's kinda rock, the bass guitar is incredible, I meant an actual rock n roll album, this album still has a lot of pop elements. Nevertheless, there's some really good songs on there, her cover of Nothing Else Matters is absolutely amazing!
