Due to the damage it has deepened and become gravely. I think it fits this song ok, but I don't like it generally. I don't mind women with a slightly deeper voice, but it's the combo of deep and gravelly that seems to grate on my ears. You expect it from a guy, but not a woman. Just like I'm not attracted to women who look like guys, neither am I attracted to female voices that sound like male voice. I feel like this is the Miley I've been waiting for. I've told my boyfriend for years she should do something more alternative because everytime we heard her do a cover like thjs, she fucking killed it and her recent release of midnnight sky is freaking dope.
