Wayne June’s contribution to this franchise cannot be overstated… Probably one of the greatest VA ever. Game is pretty cool too I guess.

To me the beastmen faction is a dead giveaway that abomination is getting added eventually, maybe we’ll unlock him through a quest similar to Reynauld? This looks incredible, I really hope the new enemies are gonna be added to base game as well

What if we meet him in his beast form, unable to control himself and raging, and tame him by winning the battle, then he turns into a human and is grateful and willing to join us. (Still a boss battle, which upon winning grants us a new ally, only they are the same person. It could be that he is not their leader but the only one of them who struggles to keep his humanity instead of fully going mindless beast and this is his reason to be grateful to us and join us and leave them.)

Please, PLEASE tell me the Beastmen faction is a precursor to the Abomination returning as a Hero. He is my favorite DD1 Hero, and I'd be so crazy jazzed to see him come back. Either way, really excited for this content update!

I feel like antiquarian was made into an enemy because her "economic" role wasn't present in the sequel's base game. So I doubt that the abomination will be made into an enemy. Although what would be cool and thematic for him would be if he started as a monstrous enemy who became a hero.

I'm absolutely sure this will drive base game sales up for people who loved the first game but didn't love how different the second one is. I was one of those people but I bought it on sale a few weeks ago and now I'm stoked about this update.

To be honest, I don’t know English at all and I only understood the concept of the update thanks to Google translator and the description under the video. There are a lot of thoughts in my head about what this regime will be like. I think this is a very interesting idea and I can't wait to try it out. I've always loved the concept of protecting and growing your settlement or kingdom, and I want to see how your team implements it. Moreover, in a game like Darkest Dungeon 2, in which I did not expect to see something like that at all. As a fan of your work, I am very pleased to see how your game develops. And while the original Darkest Dungeon will hold a special place in my heart (hell, it was the first game I installed on my new computer, replacing my very old computer, which could only run games released almost twenty years ago), I I love Darkest Dungeon 2. And although I find some decisions controversial, I like the second part. I hope that when this update comes out I will finally be able to buy this game on Steam (it's quite difficult where I live now) to support you. Good luck! And may the light of hope dispel the darkness of the Darkest Dungeon.

Grab the fly swatter and break out the bug spray, it's time to go vampire hunting once again! The Crimson Court have always been my favourite faction of DD enemies, and I can't wait to see them reborn with the sequel's graphics, models and animations! 😁👍
All we know is that werewolves are a faction now. That may very well be our beloved Bigby, but I hope as hell he doesn't become a generic enemy. I'm more fine with him being an enemy as long as he gets more ceremony & difficulty than Antiquarian. Obviously, I still want him most to be a playable hero. I'm hyped for this train!

With all the Studios that are big names, they have forgotten about the Consumer. We are nothing more than $$$$... That's why I love Red Hook so much. Made the first game with only 3 people. Funded it with a Kickstarter campaign. Still sold it cheap. By the time part 2 came out, they were up to 7. And now a free update plus the preorder on Playstation is on sale. I've never had issues with the game glitching or having problems. All started because a bigger name company didn't think the idea had potential. Love both games, Love the studio, wish more studios would learn about how to treat the gamers from them.
