The family of a pregnant woman who was killed and had her unborn child cut from the womb is hoping her son, who survived, pulls through. Marlen Ochoa-Lopez, 19, was nine months pregnant when she disappeared late last month in Chicago. Police now say she'd gone to retrieve baby clothes from a woman she'd met in a mother's group on Facebook and was killed. The infant survived his horrendous entrance into the world but is considered brain dead. Now, the family is hoping for a miracle. #InsideEdition

    • Or don’t go at all. Meet at the police station or some public place. You can get baby clothes at the dollar store or Walmart anyway. Nobody needs anyones hand me downs for a new baby. Heck, I’ll gladly send a gift card and let the person get what they need if it’s gonna keep them out of someone else’s home so this mess can stop.

  • Nobody, especially a pregnant woman, should ever go inside someone's home that they do not know. I don't care if you have a professional bodyguard with you...DON'T GO! There is no such thing as free. Go to a yard sale or thrift store and pay a couple of bucks. Stay alive.

  • Pregnant women out there please be careful. Don't trust strangers. Tip: when your at the hospital make sure your with your baby at ALL TIMES! Don't let nurses be alone with your baby/babies. Many nurses have stolen or swapped babies before

  • Back when I was a teenager, there was a home invasion and murder in my neighborhood. It was one of the first really publicized 'craigslist killings' in Washington, and it's made me so much more careful of any 'meet to buy' website. Anytime I need to meet up with someone I don't know, I always offer to meet a police station close by. And if they refuse, the internet's a big place... I don't need anything they're buying/selling that badly!

  • I’ve seen this way too many times, some without them dying and some with them dying. it’s usually /always/ when they go a house alone with someone, especially a stranger.
