Stranger was composed for Dimash by Igor Krutoy and is in English. One of his newest songs El Amor en Ti was composed by Dimash it is in Spanish. He did the OST for China’s Power Ranger movie. If you want a cheeky and fun song Be with Me composed by Dimash is unique. I would suggest the MV for that. Story of one sky is a song that took him 3 years to complete with the MV. Which speaks to his desire to see a world without war. There really are no bad choices. Dimash offers something for everyone.

If you want to see the epitome of balanced singer, check out Dimash's own composition "The Story of One Sky". (Bonus: it's in English). He also wrote the screenplay for the MV. What you just viewed (S.O.S.) is a drop in a vast ocean of talent. Not only does he have range, but his musicality is spot on, his dynamics are AMAZING and his ability to make you feel the song, regardless of language sung, can turn me into a puddle of good and reduce me to tears. He sings in 15 different languages. He directs, he acts and plays multiple instruments. He sings in genres from opera to rap and often combines them in unexpected ways. You never know what he will come up with next and has managed to surprise me in some way with every new song since this performance in 2017. FYI, in this song, the lowest note is not the lowest Dimash can hit, neither the highest, the highest. Dimash is in a category of his own in terms of voice control, technique etc... but he is also a consummate performer. If you want to hear the whole shebang of his abilities, you must react to one of his latest composition MV called "The Story of One Sky". Also, Dimash is VERY well known around the world and a huge celebrity in many countries. Whenever he goes on tour, his fans fly in from over 60 countries to attend his performances. When his first album came out in China, it went platinum within 37 seconds and 5 times more before the day was over. Dimash has not (yet) signed up with the American musical industry because he wants to retain full control of his work. It would seem David Forster and Dimash are currently working on something but the future will tell what it is.

I hope a US tour happens. Seeing him in person would be a bucket list item. I've seen many "reactions" to Dimash and it's interesting; they will rave about him and his technical skill, etc., but his performance level and stage command is also unsurpassed. Further, I don't know that I've heard any of them say this categorically, but I will; he's simply the best vocalist on the planet.
DIMASH can sing and does sing in many genres of music. More than a singer, he is a composer, actor, dancer, multi-instrumentalist, his voice now is deeper yet maintains the upper range also. He is a great humanitarian, and all around nice guy, with a worldwide legion of fans in the tens of millions. German tv selected him as the genius in the music field due to his innovations in music and his management of his music company DIMASHALI. This video you just wached of DIMASH took place in China and overnight he was a star when 600 million people went on line and shut down the interent in China trying to find out about him. Next day he woke up with bodyguards assigned to him. He is not known as well as he should be in the US, but his concert in Dec. 2019 in the US was a sell out, more people attended his concert, than the previous concert of Beyonce.

@@andreso7070 "Give me your Love" a song written by DIMASH performed at NYC Dec.2019 shows him dancing with one of his dancers named Karina. There also is a salute to Michael Jackson where he dances and does the moonwalk also. Chinese Actor Jackie Chan , gave some dance moves and DIMASH was a willing pupil, he helped to improve DIMASH's dancing. Be With Me on his digital show has him dancing with 2 women. Not many dears recommend these videos as they are jealous of Dimash sensual dancing with these women. DIMASh even apologized to the dears as he knew they would be jealous.

Video linked below. The only mainstream genres I haven't heard Dimash sing are country, punk and heavy metal. At the end of his NYC concert, he performed his single, Screaming. A bit before that, he did some R&B runs (melisma). Then he starts the song with jazz scatting. In the middle of the song, he raps. Then when runs into the audience, he scats some more. The more I watch reviews, the more I appreciate Dimash. The more I read what there is about him (his training, his education, his family, his love for country et al) the more I know what a remarkable human being he is. Dimash is world renowned, he won’t sign a contract with the west because he wants control over what he sings from opera, to pop, to rock (he’s an incredible rock singer), to folk, to rap. He has been working on a new project with David Foster in LA recently, we don’t know what it is yet! He sings in 13 languages and he sings in English a lot. His most amazing original song in English imo is Stranger where he sings F in 5 different octaves. My favourite performance is the premier of this song at New Wave 2021. You won’t believe how much better he is today, than what you just watched!!! The performance of SOS you just watched is not even his best performance of that song, imo!
Beyond that, what impressed me most about him was when he withdrew from a televised competition he was set to win because they had young children competing as well and he is against using children in the media.

what people always forget is Dimash ages at that time : he was only 22 years old !! So much skills, abilities, works, presence, voice, etc...
Welcome Dears to the wonderful world of Dimash. Each of his works is unique, at every level. Are you ready for a lot of goosebumps?
Dimash's range is 6 octaves and 8 semitones, with the highest note recorded live being a D8. That note is off the piano, and he sustained it for several seconds, with what I think I recognized as vibrato. It literally sounded like a kettle whistle. Not the type of note you'd want in a song very often, hence why you don't hear it used very much. He sometimes does do a whistle tone during his performance of the Diva Dance, to ENHANCE to improve on the performance on the blue alien lady of The 5th Element (with Bruce Willis)! He's been training his voice AND performance every day since the age of 5, and used that training to sing in over a dozen languages and sing in several genres (Opera, Classical, Pop, Rock, Traditional Ethnic, Rap). You guys owe it to yourselves to go down this rabbit hole as Dimash is considered the best vocalist of his generation, and by the time he's done he will have set a new standard of vocal technical prowess. Oh, did I forget to mention he's incredibly humble and sweet? He's what I call an anti-Diva, and we dears love him most for that!
He's also an incredibly skilled composer with a master's degree in composition. His own compositions like War and Peace, The Story of One Sky, El Amor En Ti and his latest Omir (meaning Life, where he strips it back to a simplicity and rawness not heard from him before) are incredible works and prove that what he composes for himself is far better than the many songs written especially for him. To answer your question about what he's doing now? He moved to the US in March and is currently working on a new album with the help of Walter Afanasieff, Nathan Wang and David Foster. He's currently writing and recording the soundtrack for the latest Jackie Chan movie and is in China for the next month where his last post on Instagram was from Jackie's recording studio in Beijing.

And as it's apparently all about the music industry it's probably necessary that he gets some experience of that from the west too. He's got a house in LA and most of his recent posts have been from there, or Walter Afanasieff's home or from the beach in Santa Monica.
Are you sure he is working with David Foster? I haven’t heard any confirmation on that. I just saw that they met at breakfast back in February.
His purpose of singing is actually not to be the best singer, but he sing his best for the audience so they can feel and enjoy the song through his expression. He doesn't really care about how many octaves he had, how low he can go, or how people think of him, something like that.
It is worth mentioning as, you think it is possible that not singing in English somehow, has an effect on worldwide popularity, though don't be misled - his live concerts attract Dears from as many as 70 countries every time. Dimash has beautiful, heart-rending and mind-blowing songs in ALL genres in English, in addition to at least twelve other languages. Be overly impressed with these songs in English: "Hello", "The Show Must Go On", "Adagio", "All By Myself", "Stranger", "Screaming" "My Heart Will Go On" and there are others!! In my opinion, the song that showcases the majority of his talent is The Story of One Sky. You've only scratched the surface of Dimash's capabilities. His range in songs I've heard goes from B2 to D8 (off the piano and higher than Mariah Carey). He sang the Alien pop opera song from Fifth Element. The song Stranger was written exclusively for him (covers nearly five octaves). Sings in 12 languages, plays multiple instruments. His rendition of Michael Jackson's song, Billie Jean was flawless. He sings all genres. Recommend you review Sinful Passion and be prepared to be blown away. Ogni Petra he sings pop opera as both male and female solo artist. His rendition of "Hello" will blow you away and there are many more. No one can touch his capabilities.

Young guy from Kazakhstan, singing in French to a Chinese audience. And, he had them in tears. First time the World saw Dimash. His lower register is so much better now. Try "Sinful Passion" or "Love is like a Dream".
Gentlemen.. Look outside America, UK and Europe for the best singers now. We have sat on our Laurels. There is Dimash, Hua Chenyu (Rock, Rap, Reggae, Folk, Pop, SynthPop, Electronic, Broadway, Ballads....), KZ Tandingan, Cakra Khan, Marcelito Pomoy, Jane Zhang, Sohyang, Vitas, Polina Gagarina.... and on and on. There are videos of ordinary public from Philippines singing Karaoke in shopping malls, and they are spectacular. We sold out for Hip Hop, Rap and Helium voiced females. In fact watch Jessie J on Chinese show "Singer 2018". Never heard her sound better. The Music team they surround singers with, just got superb performances out of the singers. Watch Hua Chenyu do "Nunchucks" (not in my Top 60 Hua Chenyu Performance, but good, fun intro to SOME of his abilities.

Dimash received the Bolashak International Scholarship In December 2022, which provides him the opportunity to study anything he wants for an entire year. He chose to studying "directing" at the New York Academy of Film which is also allowing him to learn how to speak English better. (I believe that's the correct name of the school). He is scholarship is lasting a little longer than a year because he continues to tour. I also believe he is close to finishing his PhD in musicology where he is studying the folk music and instruments from his culture. The genre he is creating is called New-Classical, I believe. Lastly, he strongly believes in philanthropy although the vast majority of his donations are anonymous.

He's currently in contact with David Foster. If you'd like to hear his current work, "Stranger" would be a good one. But then again, he is doing things that even outlevels that already. He is improving and surprising everybody with each new performance. You haven't heard anything yet, this was just a little warming up for him 😂 And guys, just because the US doesn't know him doesn't mean that he is not world famous. Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly anyway😅). However, if you include the notes he has sung live in his concerts so far, you get almost 8 octaves (7.7 from vocal fry C1 (B0) to the whistle register D8; this note is no longer on the piano). At least that's what he's shown us so far. And that in all registers. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. I wanted to add, he’s incredibly well known all over the world with fan clubs in 150ish countries. The only market that won’t let him become known in is the US. I discovered Dimash in 2017 when this video went viral and I have spent the last six-plus years immersing myself in everything he has ever sung, danced or acted in. I have led a long, music obsessed life, but once Dimash entered it all the most important music of my life became far less important. There is no one else like him, nor as talented, nor as vocally stunning and creative. These days it's all Dimash, all the time. I concur with those who suggest you check out "Stranger," (the original New Wave performance) sooner rather than later. It will give you an even better idea of his vocal range.

Dimash, a gifted, brilliant, talented, independent, intelligent and worldly young artist. My personal favourite gem, is Love Is Like A Dream written by Igor Krutoy (mega mogul, Russian composer and music icon). Igor wrote many songs for Dimash, another favourite of mine is Passione (exquisite).

Besides, Dimash actually holds a formal degree in Jazz Singing...👌as well as in Bel Canto.

Dimash has a very devoted fan base. He called them Dears and they are really devoted to him. Our numbers may still be small in some ways, but we are spread all over the world. He is a musical insider tip. Not suitable for everyone. He sings across genres. He himself says contemporary is what he does. He can sing anything and has even rapped. It breaks all boundaries and I love it for how diverse it is. He sings in many different languages. He didn't sell himself out to the music industry but went his own way. Of course, this makes it difficult to become widely popular. You can't put it in a box. By the way, he is not only an extraordinary personality musically but also as a human being. He loves his country Kazakhstan very much, he adores his family. He has very high human values that are important to him and that he carries out into the world. If you don't know him, you've definitely missed something. I think he will continue on his path and perhaps this will lead him to general fame at some point, but if not, I consider myself lucky to be able to experience this human gem, perhaps even in a concert. He has given concerts in many countries. All great experiences. He is really unique.

THIS was a few years ago, Dimash has improved his range immensely since this show and sings in many many languages! he plays concerts all over the world (I am hoping to get to one) He sings in English, maybe try STRANGER, it's more recent, it's sung in English and it is live. Also Under One Sky is a MUST, composed by Dimash, sung by Dimash and as it is a music video, Dimash highlights his amazing acting skills AND he sings in English.

Dimash is the Jack of all trades, Master of all. Yes he can do vocal fry and he also can rap. Look for Stranger performance the one that he did in China .
If you want a power demonstration of his lower registry, and some other qualities I recommend “Love is like a dream”. I also recommend “Contessa and Diva Dance” the last one is very fun. Diva dance is from the movie Fifth Element, and was written for an alien. In the movie, parts of the song was “sung” by a computer, because it was impossible to be performed by a human. Several have tried and been somewhat successful, but Dimash is insane. Dimash sings in several languages. I have lost count by now. I think it’s 11 or 12? He’s from Kazakhstan, and I know he sings Chinese, French, Italian, Russian, English to mention a few. He’s classically trained from the age of 5, his mother is an opera singer and his father is a composer. 😊

Dimash is very well known in Asia. His concerts are out of this world and are sold out. He sings in English, Russian, Spanish, French, etc. I discovered him two months ago and became a fan of him. You have only heard a slim slice of Dimash’s out this world talent. “Adagio” is one of my favorite songs by Dimash.
One Sky is in English, Stranger, Hello, a Michael Jackson song - Billy Jean?, Uptown Funk, Diva Dance and Ave Maria are non-verbal vocals, he did Show Must Go On, My Heart will Go On, Screaming, Golden. His voice reaches to the core of my being. Hard to explain. You're welcome to react to anything Dimash performs. As a Dimash dear (fan), however, the only videos that I do not recommend are from the World's Best tv show. Dimash's performances are stellar, as always, but later, Dimash quit the show for cultural reasons of his country Kazakhstan where adults do not compete with children. I like your analysis how Dimash goes: "I want to sing this note in that particular style." Because that' exactly what he does all the time and what makes him arguably the best singer of our time. If you go and analyze Sinful Passion, you will see that again, but executed with so much more subtlety that most listeners don't even recognize how Dimash manipulates their emotions singing the same pitch in different vocal colors and the same note in different styles.

Dimash is more known in Asia , Russia and many other countries. He had a concert in NYC which sold out within an hour and has people from 53 different countries in attendance. He was so proud of that.

Dimash è un alieno vocalmente e tecnicamente e ai concerti è una macchina da guerra, più di 3 ore di musica e intrattenimento, ogni nazione in cui si esibisce impara una canzone in una settimana in lingua madre per omaggiarla ( canta in almeno 12 lingue diverse) ma fuori dal palco è un ragazzo umile, rispettoso e molto simpatico. Il fatto di avere un'etichetta musicale indipendente lo limita al grosso pubblico ma non vuole sottostare alle regole del mercato e a noi Dears piace proprio per questo❤❤❤️ Consiglio "Olimpico" dal Digital Show registrato durante la pandemia...a presto😘
