This video is a long time coming, The start of the assembly of my newly painted BMW E34 Touring. I took a really long time to start this, but I am not too upset about that, just glad to finally get it started and ready for summer. This car was painted last summer, I let it fully cure out and did a complete wet sand earlier this winter. Now its time to put it back together and get it on road. I wanted to do this right, and have it look the way I wanted, so this job is being completed with a NOS Zender kit, which I guess is no longer new, as well as all new OEM trims, or atlas the ones that are available. Absolute class. No "car workshop" content on KZhead gets prettier than this. This is even better than the usual detailing/cleaning content, the full restoration and tasteful upgrades are delightful to watch. The attention to detail is just ridiculous, that E34 is cleaner than a show car! That front bumper on itself, with its fresh trim and "BMW" logo is an absolute masterpiece...

Ahh, that wagon is coming along molto bene (beautifully).13:45 Damn how I wish I could get all those clips and fresh mouldings (and all the other seals, grommets, etc) for my CRX Si before tearing it down and getting a proper paint job. You could get the best paint job ever but it all doesn't come together unless you have fresh window seals, rubber grommets, and body mouldings with new clips holding them firmly in place. None of that toasted, distorted, not-sitting-right pieces of trim trying to hide underneath paint. This is what separates a "wow, nice car!" from a "Holy friggin' $hit, that thing's magazine quality!"

OZ Futura is lord of wheels, cleanest e34 touring. What's your take on rubber trim on e39 m5? They're faded a bit. Paint it or use the "back to black" stuff. Daily driven so less upkeep and longer durability ideal

Hey don't know when you are working on part 2 exactly but I fairly certain that your bottom strips on the bottom of the doors is not seated properly. Couldn't make it out exactly but they stick out a fair bit and on my E34 you have to really really convince them to go on/off. Just want to make sure you don't lose 200$ worth of BMW trim :)
