  • One of the greatest motion picture directors of all time, possessing the keen eye of a film editor. Mr. Lean directed some of the best movies in film history. Although remembered for his epic films, it's the small, intimate scenes that are the most memorable. I still am in awe of this man. And it's all without CGI.

    • While I Don't entirely disagree.. ...the scope, and.. finality of such an assertion is problematic (at best)... Are You Speaking Comprehensively across his (Leans) entire cinematic lexicon or on an more intimate Individualized basis (i.e. specific films in particular)
