Hey can make a video like this for stranger things?
Hello Admin. have you ever heard about the movie Gomorrah? it's an Italian movie about the Neapolitan Mafia, a pretty raw look in to the cruel and corrupt world of Southern Italy. the cinematography of the movie actually have some similarities to the Pusher Trilogy, just that this is in Napoli. It's an raw and unfiltered masterpiece. I would looove to see you make an video dedicated to it. There's also a series, also very beautiful. it has 5 seasons. (would also be great to see a video dedicated to!) if you see this comment, i really hope you will check it out, unless you already have heard about them. much love, and keep up the great work!
I really wanted to see your video about this series, and i am so happy you made this. But the song from osmose was the one I was expecting.

How this show NEVER received a cinematography nomination at the Emmys is a fucking joke!!!
To quote chuck " WHAT A SICK JOKE !"
The Emmys are a joke, but I have to admit that the cinematography is not great enough to say that it undoubtedly deserves a nomination. Many other series also have great cinematography. I'd probably nominate it though.
@@rafaelc.c. It definitely has 10x better cinematography than fucking Ozark & Squid Game which got nominated for best cinematography this year but BCS didn't. WHAT A SICK JOKE. Better Call Saul is literally one of the best shots shows ever. Its a 10/10 masterpiece visual storytelling. The only other shows which have as great or better or close cinematography are Mr. Robot, The Crown, Hannibal, The Handmaid's Tale, The Leftovers, Breaking Bad, Peaky Blinders, Game of Thrones, Severance, Westworld and maybe a few others.
@@rafaelc.c. The cinematography isn't good? The cinematography is AWESOME
@@vigilante5148 bro calm down, wake up to reality and just accept it.
This show has such a way of making normal, mundane, every-day things look so visually striking and attractive
The way it represents the normal lives of so many people with such angular and sharp shots is incredible I agree
I couldn't agree more! Just like in Breaking Bad, I assume it's the magic of the writers
I was curious of Albuquerque as a city, and it looks like quite a boring place. Just a hot desert where everything is far away and looks the same. (Not meaning to offend the city, it just looks like that compared to all other capitals). Even with such a location, they were able to make every place, every set, every location just an unique and magical place. This is why these people are true professionals.
Agreed
after seeing this show I started appreciating small thing around me, enjoying morning views, drinking coffee etc.
A Spin Off that ended up being better that the original show. What a rare gem.

The End scene with Jimmy making finger guns to Kim was the last straw for me knowing that I'm about to break down 💔...what a sad but satisfying ending for an impeccable series..

Breaking Bad was beautifully shot, but Better Call Saul is on another level. It's insanely creative with it's constantly striking visuals and use of high contrast. It's slower pace/character-centric story let's you drink it all in. Arguably the best cinematography of any show ever made.
When I was reading this comment 3:12 popped up
not to mention the very creative usage of extreme wide shots that broke the typical structure of over the shoulder, close up, wide that most shows stick to
‘SAUL! I CAN’T FEEL MAH LEGS’
In terms of cinematography, seems you never saw Mr. Robot.
@@alba2077 Better Call Saul has better cinematography than Mr. Robot. I love Mr. Robot.
Never thought a spinoff to a series i never quite enjoyed like the people around me, would end up being one of my all time favourites and up there with the greats. The first time im more happy than sad its over. great finale. It gives me hope. That this timeless but oddly relatable masterpiece will inspire a new generation of actors, creatives, writers & people. Creativity, Charme & Character is still out there, dont settle for anything less.
I remember when they announced BCS I thought it was gonna be awful. Didn't even bother watching for the first 2 seasons. But they managed to make a spinoff with 70% totally new characters not just better than the original show, but also feel so similar to the original despite all these new characters. I have to remind myself that Nacho, Howard, Chuck, and Kim weren't in Breaking Bad. The 2 shows just intertwine so smoothly. I'm gonna miss it dearly.
I know I’m inspired by it. It is my dream to someday get the chance to work on something half as special as this show. It will definitely be remembered as one of the best shows of all time.
I really love the cinematography.
Well said sir
@@jamesmmcgill Same for me. Its a bit more clear nowadays since BCS understood the concept and ramped it up, but thats what made BB good aswell. Knowing how to set up a scene, communicating through picture, is as if not more important than the dialogue sometimes.
To me, Better Call Saul is Jimmy and Kim's love story. The love that brought out the best and worst in them. The love that still lingers, whose flame flickers bright even now in their black and white world.
I don't think their love brought out the worst in them, at least not for Jimmy. The worst in him came out after Kim left.
@@MarkHogan994 the dude scammed Irene while he was with Kim. The worst was always in him.

The best ending to a tv show period. I can’t even describe how fantastic the show is. Everybody I have told about this show have all thanked me. A lot of them weren’t even BB fans, they were annoyed about BB and I told them to just give the show a chance and sure enough they love the show, they end up watching BB and love that show too and love everything that the cast and crew have. I've been waiting for this video for years. Better Call Saul is one of the most visually appealing TV shows I've ever seen. And it's made even better by the fact most shots aren't just used for a spectacle. They tell a story and invigorate the narrative.
the most beautiful show ever put to television.

IVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS SINCE UR BREAKING BAD VIDEO
Must've been a challenge selecting what to include in 5mins, every episode has amazingly well composed shots!
Hearing "Something stupid" hits different. I'm forever thankful that I finished this amazing show
Love the shots of the ending so much Seeing Jimmy slowly getting blocked from Kim's view as she walks away while there is no soundtrack or anything Kinda gave me goosebumps and such a feeling
probably the best cinematography in a show ever
As a step from an unnecessary spin-off to being one of the best series on all of TV (even competing and beating its predecessor Breaking bad), taking the same resources of Bb, cinematography, rhythm, suspense, drama, the world of lawyers, reunions of characters from the original series and my favorite part are the montages and flashforwards of Saul after Breaking Bad. P.D: Could you also finish the saga with El Camino: a breaking bad movie?, because it seemed like a good epilogue, a good ending for Jesse Pinkman, and the good cinematography...
El Camino wasn't good in my opinion. The cinematography is way too different from breaking bad and not in a good way
@@maurice5402 It’s a good movie in its own right, just doesn’t compare to BCS or BB.
breaking bad is unbeatable
I wanted the Spin-Offs to be like that, an extension of the original material, sometimes a story in its own right, but one that is better enjoyed by those who watched the original, I hope Vince taught this and that House of Dragon does it. "I hope".
El camino was so boring
Better Call Saul out classes breaking bad in so many ways in cinematography, writing, characters it was better then i could have ever imagined what a ride it's been.
One of the most strikingly beautiful shows I've ever seen, and that's just the tip of why this show is a masterpiece
The art of directing, lighting, and cinematagraphy in this show were just perfect. A rare treat that made every episode intriguing to watch on its own. This video does the show and its production crew justice!
The reality of the show ending hasn't hit me until I watched this video, and I ended up sobbing my eyes out thinking about the last 7 years and being able to experience this Thanks for putting this together ❤️
Close to 10 years here.
I am in love with the amount of time the camera is still in the whole series.
I honestly think this video needs a part 2, there are sooo many amazing shots on bcs that just 1 video doesn´t seem fair

The last episode catapulted BCS to the Olymp. What an episode and what a great episode for the character of Saul Goodman. It felt so cool and epic.
The scene where mike kills Werner was also visually stunning.
Watching BCS is like watching a never ending slideshow of perfect desktop wallpapers, with great characters and story as a bonus.
What an absolute masterpiece. The visuals are so expertly crafted to make the different visuals look pretty but also hold weight and meaning. All the colors are there on purpose. Its really beautiful. The fact this show didn't win an Emmy for cinematography is just utter criminal.

This TV Series is just perfect. Writers really nailed each character, their thought and philosophy they live by...The relation between characters and the use of cinematography to incapsulate each emotion and unspoken motives...Just Phenomenal. Thank you.
Never cared for the Emmys but just found out that today was the last time this show was eligible......and then found out that this never even got nominated for best cinematography. Getting snubbed is one thing, but not even a single fucking nomination in 6 seasons while having this level of cinematography is absolutely WILD. I'm actually more baffled than salty.
Also keep in mind that Wednesday somehow won an award for Cinematography too, talk about insult to the injury that was BCS losing to Game of Thrones S8 in the Emmys
This montage feels like a normal montage for the show, lol. So many great characters, it's great seeing them all again.

i never understood what people meant when they say marvel movies felt boring or soulless, until i watched BCS, i’ve never been so attracted to cinematography before
This is the most perfected show i have watched even more so than breaking bad
This series is a continuous "the beauty of" montage. Every single frame is pure storytelling and photographic/videographic art and you've done it justice. Great music choice as well. I remember thinking this will just try and capitalize on the success of Breaking Bad when it was first announced. The entire production team proved me very, very wrong and I'm grateful for that. I will probably never enjoy a film or series more than I did Better Call Saul, but I hope I will once again be proven wrong.
F*ck Emmys. The streets love this gem show
Put a random bcs episode, take a random screenshot without even looking. You can easily use it as an album cover or a screensaver. Amazing photography beauty.
The “Somethin’ Stupid” montage from Season 4 might be the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in a tv show.
This show is so well crafted. Arguably one of the best show of all time
Better Call Saul is a spinoff that breaks all rules of spinoffs and makes an outstanding show that will never be forgotten
This show is masterclass in visual storytelling. And I don't think no other show has done visual storytelling so perfectly using these beautiful wide angle shots, reflection shots, focuses, creative camera angles and colour as perfectly as Better Call Saul. Its one of the three best shot shows imo along with Mr. Robot & The Crown. That being said. I will miss the BB/BCS Universe so much. BCS was a series with a series with an outstanding cinematography and that was just the cherry on the cake of an already insanely good and creative show.
