    • Yup. I'd rather see things done the way Chris is doing them than rushing and trying to create content just to put up a video as many channels do.

  • You post videos when you choose and we can choose to watch them when we want. In my opinion your channel is one of the best if not the best on youTube. I'm still in awe of your skills and abilities and most of all admire your attitude and patience toward your projects. I'm still trying to figure out where you got all of your training as it's hard to find someone so well versed in the wide range of abilities. From boat motors, autos, jet ski engines, etc. You sir have skills.

  • Hey Chris, Wife and I are totally jelly on your new shop. We sold our family home last year and are currently on the hunt for our forever home up hear on the Pacific NW. One of the non starters is no shop or place to build a shop. We spent 16 years in our last home which was in the heart of a HOA infested high density housing neighborhood. It was a lot of house for our 4 kids. But once they flew the coup, that house had to go. Gina, my wife said at one point, if I die in this house you know something went horribly wrong with my life. Luckily we got out. Can't wait to see what you do with your new space. Maybe drink a few beers with friends and have a rematch to see who can hand saw a 4x4 the fastest (just watched that on NNKH2 last night 😉) . All the best to you, Jen and Gus. Cheers!

  • A tip I learned the hard way…cut relief cuts 45 degrees diagonally in from the corners of the overhead door frame so they intersect in line with the middle of the opening. The slab will shrink where it meets the those corners and crack, guaranteed. FTR I watched all the way to the end, it was worth it.

  • You definitely found a keeper with Jen, she’s too cool. It was after midnight, she’s running around gathering sheets, w/ a smile, so you can tuck in a concrete pad. 😂😂 It turned out great, you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. BOL

  • Good stuff, it's important because so many of us have either done it or will do it, sometime in the future, I used moving blankets for mats to keep the floor wet while it cured for seven days when I did mine . a great video stay the way Chris there will always be haters .

  • Chris, your dream is coming true brother, looking great brother! 👌🏻👍🏼👍🏼 You definitely deserve a new shop my friend! Down here, there’s so much humidity and moisture we dig a trench around the structure and treat it for termites before the structure goes up! Just saying my friend! Believe me you can’t do too much Chris, you’re doing a great job!

  • Hi Chris. I was looking forward to this! You did a great job overseeing this garage. You’ve added a lot of value to your home for yourself now and for a possible future sale. Post new content on your schedule, you work hard and you don’t want to burn yourself out.
