VERY detailed and thorough. Thank you! 🙏🏾
Thank you for this video! Feel more confident with my decision to purchase the round brush!
I liked and subscribed instantly after seeing the tumnail cause I was hesitant between these two brushes. thank you so much for your video!!! It was SOOOOO helpful !!!!
How does this not have more views it was so professional and well done ☺️
Your guess is as good as mine lol! Thank you so much 🤗
Thank you! I was looking for the different effects that the brushes have on natural hair before buying them, now I know which one I want to get much love all the way from South Africa.
Thank you for this video, I was hesitating between the two!
You’re so welcome! Which one did you decide on?
@@jaichanellie I got the round brush 😁
Thank you for this review! I have the paddle brush and love it and now I know what the other one brings to the table.
You’re welcome, Jamie!!! Yes it’s always good to see the results before you consider it for yourself
I like the round brush because of the smoothness and little curl! I have the Revlon paddle brush but abandoned it for my Revair which I learn that works amazing on my locs too.
The little curl gets me every time too 🥰 My Revair is currently out of commission but you’re so right, it comes in CLUTCH!
Repair on locs?! Which one exactly cuz I have locs and need to give it a try!
This video helped me to see I used the round brush wrong. Thanks again!
Great video, very informative and engaging!!
Thank you so much, Ebonny!!! I’m glad I could help 🤗❤️
I have the round one and I love it! I agree that side was sleeker! Nice to see how a similar tool works ☺
Yes it’s so good! Glad you could see the difference as well. Did you see they came out with a new version of the round brush?
have you experienced any breakage using that one?
@@kerriwashington1887 i definitely lose more hair using the round brush 😬
@@jaichanellie because of the continuous pulling while rotating the brush, I ordered the volumizer plus version of this brush , it has a smaller head and the head is detachable so my approach is going to be: First take of the head, and use the tension method first to stretch my hair until it’s damp-almost dry, then go in with the head and get it sleek by brushing maybe twice or rotating it twice until it’s fully dry and fully stretched
@@vastya.3255 Ooh that sounds like a good technique! Please keep me updated on how you like the plus version
I love both!
Thank you just found a great deal at Marshall’s and bought the paddle brush. Can’t wait to use it ❤️
Yesssss we love a good deal!
Thanks so much for the review on both. You helped so much with my indecision. Round brush wins for me.
You're so welcome, hope you're enjoying the round brush!
Hair looks amazing. 👏👏👏
Thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰
i've actually been eyeing these revlon products and found myself sooo stuck on which one to get! so this video was supppa duppa helpful!
Yessss I’m glad to hear this 🙌🏾 especially since you can get them at the same price now, they needed to be compared!
Wow I loved both sides. I already ordered the paddle brush but maybe I'll get the round one later on too!
Thank you! I actually do recommend both if you want different looks for different things, my mom swears by the round brush!
I definitely love the curls of the volumizer
Me too! That’s my favorite part lol
❤I bought my own Revlon style blowing dryer cool high low off warm
Great video, thanks!
I have the brush for when I braid my hair but I’m getting the round brush for when I straighten my hair in February. I like them both.
This is EXACTLY how i use them too!
I just recently got the Knot Dr Drying Round Brush by Conair, which is similar to the Revlon Round brush. I absolutely love the finished look; however, I feel as though the boar bristles might cause excess breakage. Does anyone else feel the same?
I like the end result and I need that blow dryer ❗️
Thank you! Which one are you eyeing?
@@jaichanellie I like the round one, I can finish with a blowout and a curl : )
@@StMarilyn yessss the curl really seals the deal lol
Your hair looks so good and soft!!
I have the dryer and styler one. Im definitely wondering which one is better. I have that same leave in too. Walk us through the process 👏🏾
I feel like the one with the roller brush definitely got the hair a lot sleeker. I mean you could have worn it out nice and fluffy like that
Thank you so much!!! It was pretty soft to the touch ❤️
That one is a staple for naturals, I feel like. Have you found a leave-in that compares to that one? I always keep going back to it. Thank you for watching ❤️
Yes agreed, except i have to find a way to fight the heat/humidity from poofing it up😂🤣
i love the results of the round brush for a fresh blowout but i can see how somepeople like toe brush as a touch up tool or probably because it takes less finesse. i'd get the round brush in heartbeat if i felt more secure using round brushes!!
Exactly this! I haven’t seen a lot of Black girls use the round brush and do the flick of the wrist lol. It definitely is a learning curve but the results >>
Yesss! I can never blow out my hair this product has changed my life lol not only does it blow it out it gives silk press vibes to me.
Great video!
Thank you Colette ❤
VERY HELPFUL thank you :)
I have the paddle brush version from Revlon! I love it, but I’m scarred that it might thin my hair out over time because I’m too rough with my hair lol. I think I’ll just stick to using it when I want to blow my hair out prior to flat ironing it, otherwise I’ll use the tension method with a regular hair dryer before box braids, crochet braids, etc.
It’s a must-have! Oh no 😣 how many sections are you working with? Do you detangle beforehand? I lowkey do the tension method with the paddle brush, that’s why I pull my hair out all the way before brushing it. That way I’m not just ripping the bristles through my hair 😖 Definitely do what’s best for you and your hair; the tension method ain’t neva hurt nobody! Thank you for watching and sharing ❤️
Looking for someone who uses it like a round brush so I can see how to do it. THANK YOU!
Girl, I want to buy one of these & of course I needed to hear your pov. I want the round brush one & there are quite a few to choose from. TFS 💛
Girl I ordered the round one and it’s coming today! Do you want me to update you
@@daniellen3324 yes, please do! Thank u.
@@daniellen3324 Hey could you update me pls? I'm tryna know which to buy😭
Thank you
You're welcome!
The flat paddle brush. Yess!
It’s a game-changer!
I prefer the paddle brush one, i also have a hand held dryer and round brush. But really i just air dry then flat iron. My iron is my baby. Great video ❤
What flat iron do you use? I usually air dry and flat iron these days too unless I randomly feel like blow drying my thick curly hair that’s down to my a$$ lol
What heat protectant do you use
@@Ohkeh640 I use conair ceramic irons. One is called conair styliss, and the other is conair infiniti pro ceramic.
@@Ohkeh640 sometimes grease, softee, mostly oil, loreal extraordinary oil, or tresemme flat iron spray, but that last one might be gone cuz I haven't seen it in a while
@Ohkeh640 BTW I use those because I have high porosity hair, and live up north. Dry winters, and humid summers so those are the best to keep my hair moisturized and straight.
I got myself the roundbrush and I'm just not a pro like you are😂😂😂 I look like I only brushed it dry but it took me 30minutes after my hair was wet and I didn't achieved that sleek curl look...I guess I need to try harder next time
Great video. My thing is the pink balls on the end of the dryer/brush. Those get caught in your hair and may do damage. You see you only have a few left. Is there a hair drying brush that does not have those balls on the end and works just as well?
Yes the dyson
I’m so glad I ran across this because I have been eyeing the dyson version and it’s like a gazillion dollars ($600)😞
I JUST saw someone talking about that Dyson dryer, apparently it spins by itself?
The round one looks good but is hard work and after washing my hair I'm already tired
How long does it last ?
Which one straighten your roots better?
The round brush!
Hi, I’m just wondering do you get a lot of single strand knots and if so are they preventable :( I feel like whenever I touch my hair one of the ends r knotted and I keep my ends tucked away so it’s really frustrating.
Hi Helen, the only time i get significant single strand knots is if I’m wearing a wash and go for too long. How do you typically style your hair?
Please how can I get some,If am buying some
After you use the brush are you supposed to straighten it out with a flat iron?
Supposed to? No, but you can if you want to!
do you still recommend the paddle brush version for someone with thick type 4 hair and a first time user?
do you have to curl it with the round brush or can you just go down and blow dry
You don’t have to but by design it works best that way! I personally wouldn’t use it like a regular brush
I will get the puddle one I think the round brudh cut so much hair out
Understandable!
I had the round brush but had to return it because I notice a lot of my hair was pulled from the blow dryer. I am thinking about buying the paddle brush though. when you were using the paddle brush did you see you hair in the bristles ?
I lose small amounts of hair with the paddle brush but yes, some does come out! Not as much as the round brush, though.
Idk if you’ve ever gotten this but you give me grown & mature That Girl Lay Lay vibes 😅 like you literally look like her to me! Edit: in a good way of course!
Lol I’ve never gotten that before 😂 but she is a cutie pie so i ain’t mad! Thank you for watching and commenting 💖
I bought the round one. Doesn't work for my 4c hair. If anyone knows how to remove the bristles please let me know
I have 4c hair as well. I guess I'll get the flat dryer brush for my hair.
Round one looks much nicer the other one makes her hair look more wild or natural but not neat.
Would you say that you lost more hair with the round brush?
yes definitely (but i didn't lose a ton)
@@jaichanellie hey what makes you say that??
@@adriana-jc6iv the teeth of the brush are more dense on the round brush and they just bent a lot easier in my head and also snagged more hair
in my collection? what collection? m just looking to buy only 1 n thats it
Well then that comment wasn't for you! I was speaking to those like myself who own multiple hair dryers
I wanted 2 wish you a happy birthday 🎂🥳🎉🎈🎁🎊 I'm a Leo cat sheets ♌🦁 🐈😻🐈⬛
Thank you Lashaun ❤️❤️❤️
I wish my hair could water and hot water shampoo and conditioner what I do to hair blow dryer pro tool tumors 1875 b they're just go to flat iron hot tool
Umm you didnt show the breakage from the two tools
There's not a very accurate way to determine breakage from a single use of a tool. Are you referring to the overall hair I lost?
@@jaichanellie hey, did you experience any overall damage using these products? I’m interested in the paddle brush one
@@E.R.24 The paddle brush is definitely the safest option in terms of less breakage! They're all heat tools so naturally they will damage your hair over time w excessive use but I haven't noticed any damage from using them, other than snagging if your hair isn't thoroughly detangled beforehand!
Do you experience a lot of breakage using any of these blow dryers
Breakage? No, but the round brush does pull more hair out overall from the root
Next time u should start from the back bc if u start at the front it will be good but when u do the back after doing the front ur hand will be tied and u will rage like this 💀💀💀💀
Not sure what your secret is, but when I tried to use this, those bristles tangled my hair. I gave it away the very next day.
Start at your ends first .
Starting at the ends works well when you’re detangling hair, but isn’t necessary for drying.
idk why but when you kept rolling the revlon volumizer (round brush) to dry your hair I was so irritated
Idk why either 🤷🏽♀️
