The Yemen crisis EXPLAINED through the eyes of young people - BBC My World

Yemen has been labelled the "the world's worst humanitarian crisis" but with 60% of its population under 25 - what's it actually like growing up there? These young people tell BBC My World about how their lives have changed, but also what they want people to know about their country. BBC reporter Nawal Al-Maghafi explains why Yemen is at war, as we see the Yemen crisis explained through the eyes of three teenagers living through it.

    • Help!!! Yes I agree Please view on face book if able the group and page of active ongoing ways to start helping some there now. Active charities that can reach some more with more donations, awareness. Petitions Articles. Videos. On internet I recommend Mona Relief. And Yemen Relief and reconstruction foundation. Urgent!!!!!!! The news has stated that fifty percent of the population, Civilians of Yemen will be dead by the end of June without urgent response is needed now.

  • It’s really heartbreaking that Yemen is still in the war to be honest I am really heartbroken I remember the day I left there I feel like it was yesterday I love Yemen, Yemen maybe in a war but it’s still beautiful and Yemen has the most beautiful people!

  • We all know why this story is not as mainstream as it should be. Oil, Saudi Arabia. The U.S. wouldn't dare risk Saudi oil relations. Sad this is our state of affairs.
