    • Valentina was more efficient, (if only by 2%, even tho she threw 107 less punches), landed more takedowns, and won rounds 1,3,4 and the first half of round 5. I honestly understand if you gave the Grasso the win, but it was *really* close.

    • You are acting like its clear that Grasso won. She would've lost if not for the fake 10-8 round. She got punched in the face for 25 mins, got 1 knockdown that did nothing, and controlled Val for less than 2 min in round 5 on the ground... after being punched in the face for 3.5 minutes. 😂😂😂

    • Rounds 1,3,4 were for shevchenko. 5 wasn’t a 10-8 she should’ve won imo. It comes down to the fourth round and Valentina landed slightly more and heavier. Mike bell screwed up on that one.

  • You have to beat the champ for the belt, if it is a draw it goes to the the champion to retain! In boxing, wrestling, of all fights. Alexa turn out to be tougher than we thought. Wonder how she will do with Amanda Nunez?

    • Well said, Sir. That should be a very interesting fight. Nunes is a hard hitter for sure. If I were going to give any advice on fighting Amanda, I would say work on your cardio, hand speed, and footwork. Basically, don't let her hit you. She's got long arms and legs, so it's easy for her to hit and kick you.

  • Valentina wins ROUND 1: striking for the most part with Valentina getting the better exchanges due to her better technique and faster speed. Both end up clinching with valentina getting double under hooks takes Alexa down landing on half guard. Alexa tries to scramble and Valentina gets the mount. Alexa gives her back and Valentina TRIES to attempt a rear naked choke but Alexa scrambles and gets to her feet. Round ends with both fighters clinching and striking against the cage with Valentina on the dominant. . . Alexa won ROUND 2 (Valentina got dropped, and although she did get a takedown afterwards, she mostly just laid on top and not ONCE did she even attempt to pass guard, she received a nasty up kick when she stood and MANY knee push kicks that could've hyper extended her knee, she got on top again to finish the round and once again didn't attempt to pass guard) Valentina won ROUND 3: got a takedown and did a tight guillotine attempt, ended up getting Alexa's back with a body scissors and ended the match with a transition to attempt an armbar. Alexa won ROUND 4: stuffed Valentina's takedown attempt and hit her with 6 knees to the head with all of them being legal since Valentinas hand only touched the mat ONCE and it didn't count since it was only her finger tips and not the palm. Alexa then while on the feet got her back and slammed Valentina to the ground and did a kimura attempt. Valentina ends up on top but Alexa gets to her feet with Valentina on her back. Alexa finishes the round with a roll escape into a heel hook atempt. ROUND 5 IS A DRAW: rounds starts and for the first 2 minutes Valentina is picking Alexa apart with her striking, after the two minute mark Alexa starts to become more aggressive and lands some strikes too but Valentina is still winning most of the exchanges, with 3:30 minutes in they both come together and Valentina attempts a Judo throw like move but fails and ends up falling to the ground on her hands and knees, Alexa quickly gets the back and proceeds to land strikes, Valentina after a few seconds begins to try to move and Alexa sinks in her hooks, and continues to pound away. Valentina tries to shake her off and Alexa transitions to body scissors while still on Valentinas back and attempts a rear naked choke. Alexa loses the choke and the fight ends.

    • If you take out Mike Bell's scorecard, the fight would still be a draw, because the other two judges were aldo undecided, one gave it to Valentina and one to Grasso.
