  • I don’t know why but Mike not even attempting to wipe the tears off his face messes me up every time. A man of his stature and image, who protects his legacy more than any athlete who ever lived, just not even thinking about the tears streaming down and just getting through this moment is just…heavy man.

I watch this sometimes, just because it is good to cry here and there. I have a daughter her age and it just breaks my heart. That was a very sad day, because it reminds me of other good friends that passed away too soon. Jordan was a rock, and it shows you these guys are all people.

  • 3 years later, I still couldn't believe he's gone. Kobe's passing was one of the hardest things to cope. When I was just a teen living in China, Kobe was the first basketball player I've known. I would watch lakers game during the lunch break with my classmates and admired all his moves! I bought so many kobe's posters and signed his name in Chinese (lol). 10 years later, I moved to the states. My top checklist was to see laker's game in staples center. I still vividly remembered seeing Kobe playing on court. He nailed it in the 4th quarter and lakers won ! That was a dream come true moment of my life. I wanted to say thank you dear Kobe. You gave me strength and hope. Now i'm 35 and soon become a mother. I will teach my kid to play basketball and watch your games together. Lots of love.

So i watched some of his interviews and how amazingly his messages inspired me within my role as a leader with people around looking at me as an example, including my great son! His wisdom brought another dimension to understand the dedication and love to what I do in life. Incredible person and thanks to his book which can be taken into many other areas not only within sport self discipline. Book accelerates the personal cognitive map for who we are and what is our purpose in life. Thank You for this inspiration and sending love to heaven. ❤️🙏

He cherished life no matter the position he was in. On the court, at home or in public it didn’t matter. He was one of few who chose to live while heartedly and put his fame aside. @epix789@epix7893 жыл бұрын
    • I honestly think MJ should've started with that sentence & then proceed how Bryant in the beginning was an annoying lil brother & how he grew to love him...but I think he tried to make a small joke in the beginning which didn't work. Maybe it was nerves or just trying to make a joke for the sake of not crying like crazy in the beginning.

Mj doesn't talk much, make speeches, make public appearances so we know he really wanted, needed to be up there to make this speech to Kobe.
