I remember my Grandparents having Bone marrow Tacos after a Calf Head pit Barbacoas on Sunday.
Outstanding, thank you! Subscribed
I like to collect and mix the marrow butter that melted out of the bone into rice. I put some finely diced onions and some zucchini, pepper, salt with it, mix it up and you have a nice little light meal or side dish. I also may sprinkle a little coconut aminos and/or Bragg's vinaigrette with it. Tastes even better after it's been mixed & resting in the fridge for a day. Don't add the sauces til you're ready to eat it though. 😉
It's actually really good to add as a condiment on my steak or hamburger
Thanks for covering the topic. I'm a fan of marrow, for the nutrition and taste. An alternative is to boil the bone in an inch of water, 3 minutes on each side. The marrow comes out great, and this also cooks any attached meat and tendon, so you can them include with your meal.
I have been wanting to try this for a long time now. But I have recently become blind so I need to figure out what part of the bone do I ask for is it the leg, is it the backbone, and how do I asked to have it cut. But for some reason I cannot get an answer.
@@stevemendez3535 Ask specifically for marrow bones at your supermarket. They often will come frozen, a half-dozen in a bag.
With all due respect, you are the epitome of gorgeous! I just got some marrow bones delivered but I wasn’t sure how to eat them. Thanks so much!
Thank you :) I hope you like them!
Love your videos !!!!!! Great advice :)
caninecoach2223 Thank you!!
Great post 😋😎
Yummm, I’m happy to hear this is good for you if eaten twice a week because it’s so tasty! A true delight indeed🎉
Great! Thank you!🍀
I love the yolk-ish taste
I just use bone with marrow when making pinto beans , in a crock pot, three hours later ., When the beans are done . The marrow comes out on it's own into the beans. Mix well and eat. Yummy! (My mother and father did it that way. Now I do the same).
I remember eating this as a kid. Found some canoe cut bones in the store today and plan to make some
Your hair is a beautiful color :)
Thank you namaste
Thanks for another great vid, Nicole! Where do you purchase your marrow bones?
JLH thanks! I get them from a local farm.
Healthy With Nicole Which local farm? I’m looking for one in Southern California. Is it in Silverado?
Thanks

My dogs favorite!
Mine loves it also. Raw.
so if I go to the supermarket, the package will say bone marrow ?
I prefer it raw with finishing salt.
Yummy 😋!
It's called Pipe Bone..the one with the marrow inside
Oh?If you run out of "Well Greetings'"; You're done.
Question, you said only two of those bones are needed to make bone broth? I think I bought the same bag as you or something similar, I do want to eat the marrow but also want to make the broth but want to make as much as possible. How many are needed for each batch of bone broth? And how much water is needed?
Dev There isn’t a specific amount, you can make bone broth with if you bones in a lot of water or not very much water and a lot of bones. Obviously the more bones make it with a more concentrated it will be but I think it’s so good either way.
Healthy With Nicole awesome thanks for answering so quick, you got a new subscriber
Dev great! 😊
whats the thing on the wall? is it a moveable light?
It’s an Italian pot filler.
I do kind of wish you had shown yourself eating it .
Penelope 6 maybe next time! 💕
next time!
I agree, it would be nice to see how easy it is to scoop out... I've only ever roasted them for bone broth... Might steal one before the crock pot gets it and take a taste...
that's great thanks, but if it's saturated fat, then it should be used as a treat rather than eaten on a regular basis (healthwise).
I tried 2-3 mins on each side and the center was still uncooked... any advice?
at 3 minutes 30 she says she says frying mainly to kill bacteria which would be on the outside. I guess though to cook the centre maybe thaw out before fry. ie leave on counter a few hours.
Where can you buy them
Usually at the regular grocery store.
Does eating bone marrow (meat) when you have hypertension bad?
I don't believe so! Look at stress and body weight instead...
Me waiting for her to eat it 👁👄👁
