A timelapse of the cold outbreak from 21 Dec to 23 Dec 2022 in Boulder CO. Watch the temperature plummet! The camera won't record temperatures below -20℃ (-4℉) so the drop stops at that value.
Wow, that temperature just dropped of a cliff.
The camera sensor can't go below -20C and the temp actually bottomed out at --27.3C at 0800 on the 22nd. Thanks for your comment! drive.google.com/file/d/1M5Y-zWecL90NglvqLnTvKULPBVC1AX5q/view?usp=share_link

This video also has a little bit of stargazing in it as well. Yeah, I was somewhat surprised that the sensor on such an inexpensive camera was sensitive enough to see stars amazingly well.
looks like day 1st night!
Enormous light pollution
1:32 -27 Celsius degrees
Wow Boulder didn’t get it bad. Where I live in SE Denver it was -14 F at night and at most 3 during the day.
The temperature sensor on the camera bottoms out at -20C/-4F. The actual low was -27C/-17F.
If you were outside in that very cold weather, you would almost instantly freeze.
Well, not instantly but inadvisable without proper clothing.
66F to -4F in the same day is crazy
The camera case warms in the sun so the 66F is too high - the actual temperature was about 50F. The sensor in the camera also bottoms out at -4F, and the actual low was -17F. Yep, it got very cold very fast.
Why did it not get dark?
Heavy overcast, street lights, and a sensitive camera.
