  • Very much lower standard game at this high level. The game could have ended had the queens been exchanged much earlier when White had two extra pawns. There were enough opportunities.

  • Why not Qe6+ instead of Qxb5 (16:32)? It forces Qxe6+; Kxe6; Kf4; d4; Ke4; d5 and game over, or did I miss anything?

  • Worst thing is that I am foreseeing 80%-90% og Magnus ' moves,but the game changers,I usually miss.. Wish I could rewire my brain to 5 years old again! Magnus possesses so many tricks,and basic understanding of the game, that I think it is gonna be a long time until someone as good as him 8n the foreseeable future. 😉 But then, people said that about Tal,Fischer, Kasparov and many other great players. I like the new guys on the block now,btw. Very aggressive players,but sometimes it's better to be defensive. There's where Magnus shines,in my mind. That too! 😂 Fascinating to watch the matches. Thanks,guys!

    • Black queen was covering the promotion case for the white pawn (and promotion wasn't protected for white), then white got checked multiple times in a row, so he couldn't promote his pawn on these turns, and knight is stronger in this position

  • FIROUZA'S BIG MISTAKE THATS WHY HE CONSUME VERY LONG TIME BECAUSE HE GET KNIGHT AT FIRST PAWN PROMOTION RATHER THAN QUEEN. SAYING THAT KNIGHT IS VERY STRONG TO GET ON THAT PROMOTION IS NOT TRUE. I REPEATED HOW MANY TIMES THIS VIDEO, THERE IS NO RELEVANCE. MAYBE WHAT IS TRUE FIROUZA TRYING TO CHALLENGE TO.MAGNUS IN AN WQUAL MATERIALS THAT HAS NO TWO QUEENS BUT ONLY HORSE AND QUEEN, THATS MY OPINION.

  • I just noticed that A. Firoujza is not that great at end game. The game should end longtime ago if white could promote the pawn to Queen but he hesitated too long

  • Are these two drunk, gives up a prime opportunity to double up queens forcing Magnus to sac his queen, the Magnus could of check him and taken the new night. Bogus game or their DRUNK. I Magnus plays like that he wouldn't be World Champ. I would.
