These guys can talk about Gallagher all they want. But Jackson is going to end up making a lot of reactionary pundits and fans look very silly. That’s up to 16 goals and 6 assists, including 13 goals and 5 assists in the EPL. People very quickly forget he’s only 22 and in his first season in England. He now has the same amount of goals as Drogba in his debut season (16) and three more EPL goals (13) than Drogba had in his first season (10). People were very quick to write him off when it’s very clear his first touch, dribbling, hold up play, combination play, pace, running the channels, and tracking back are all excellent. If his finishing really does go to the next level he’s going to end up being a very good player.

Cole Palmer is way better than Jackson in his first season with Chelsea he is competing for the golden boot alongside Harlaand. Sell Jackson he doesn’t score where it matters. MIA against Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City. Should have prioritized Osimeh as signing and not midfielders Mudryk and Caicedo.
Agree, I've been poch in all season,not got annoyed when we've lost not got over excited when we've won. This is a process,poch is the right person for now. Players are understanding there roles with and without the ball better,were cutting out the basic errors at the back and the ball is hitting the back of the net. Gallagher must be kept. I like Gallagher. He gives everything on that pitch. However it's true he runs more than any other attribute. In the big games where you need a player to be a bit more technical I found that he has struggled. I'd keep him as a squad player.

@Viewer41 9 of Palmer’s 21 league goals are penalties. That’s a huge asterisk next to his goal tally. Credit to him for burying all of those penalties. But his goal tally is very much artificially inflated.

Compare his contribution relative to matching winning outcomes vs Palmer and Gallagher and then price we paid for them versus the price we paid for him. We overpaid period. When you come with that price tag , Chelsea is right to have high expectations of your performance on the field from day 1. Thus far a very poor showing during the course of the present season. Other star midfielders have been performing constantly in the premier league, champions league and the FA Cup. He was only playing in the premier league, what’s his excuses. Gallagher and his agent are trying to force the club to pay him £200k/week...but the owners back themselves to replace Gallagher if he doesn't sign on their terms. Romeo Lavia is already at the club because Chelsea expected Gallagher to be sold last summer, but there were no solid bids. Gallagher is in a tough spot, because his negotiating power is weak at Chelsea, and he's not a big money signings for Arsenal, Liverpool or City - maybe United come in for him.
