Somehow Goodman pulls off a character he has no business being able to pull off, and he kills it.
THAT WAAS VERY...GOOD.
@@stevefrank3599 Salute *THIS.*
The best impersonation
If you sit long enough on a role you eventually kill it.
Goodman is really an underrated actor
John Goodman is ridiculously good as DeNiro
WTf are you babbling about?
William G He’s shampooing amazing as DeNiro !
He certainly has the look and the voice down!
@Cockney John Shut the fuck up, donnie. You're outta your element.
OldPossum lol you’re an idiot
That Richard Dreyfuss, was 100% dead nuts accurate. Darrell Hammond is so underrated.
Hammond is the best.
pretty good but dreyfuss is not that uptight irl.
Darrell Hammond is well-appreciated.
"I heard tings... I heard tings." - One of the funniest responses ever , along with "Did you Shampoo my Wife??"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I AGREE
I think he was actually supposed to say " a little bit. a little bit" in the Dreyfuss bit.
I heard things shampoo farts
I heard things too
Why you sick shampoo!
I did not expect Goodman's De Niro impression to be that good
Stan the man
He had the mouth down pat.
Eyes wide shut
If you watched the show Roseanne he did it a couple times he was good
John Goodman is a legit actor who happens to be funny.
This is possibly the best De Niro impression I've even seen.
Settle down. Did you shampoo my wife ?
Did you see Alex Baldwins ?
It's funny because we love Goodman. But Alec Baldwin absolutely NAILED it.
Alex Baldwins is hands down the best
Yeah ! Goodman is good, but Baldwin is hilarious !
I genuinely thought Richard Dreyfuss was a guest. Darrell Hammond killin it as usual
If you closed your eyes and relied on his voice only you could easily be mistaken
Uncanny
Its really great
Darrell Hammond doing Richard Dreyfuss's laugh is perfect. And who knew John Goodman's deniro's was awesome
and the voice is spot on. Right when he started talking the audience knew exactly how great it was and started clapping.
@@eolsunder I heard things and shampoo farts he he he
“Hey look! you broke me hollands opus” that cracked me up
Holy crap, Darrell Hammond freaking NAILED Richard Dreyfuss. Like NAILED it!
He really did. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, in walks Hammond as Dreyfuss!! Awesome.
Three incredibly good impersonations in this sketch.
Ben Prewitt he’s killed everyone he did back in his days lol
The Star Wars screen test bit was hilarious too with Hammond doing Richard Dreyfuss auditioning.
@@SaintD382 I'd say four. Cheri Oteri as Marisa Tomei was real impressive, too. And she's easy on the eyes, like Marisa.
Despite the fact that John Goodman was five times the size of Robert DeNiro, Goodman was stunningly good in the speech and mannerisms of De Niro. And, Cheri Oteri was a "stone-cold fox" back then.
Cheri Oteri bad ass !!
Yes, she was.
Is there anyone Darrell Hammond can't do! Jesus! This guy is amazing.
I know right? He even played George Washington... ...in The Last Sharknado: It's About Time
Yeah, his initial entrance and greeting was just crazily spot on.
"crazily spot on" lol who talks like that
@@clancykobane9102 How about I talk like this, who the fuck are you my 4th grade English teacher?
Lol
I love it when Jim Breuer does Pesci. John Goodman was fantastic as DeNiro. And hands down to Darell Hammond impersonating Richard Dreyfuss. I actually thought it was Richard himself. The voice was spot on
Probably watched this 20 times, all 4 actors are brilliant in this sketch and the writing is phenomenal
Funny stuff Steve
Yeah yeah Steve, same comment on all the Joe Pesci shows, we got it, we got it.
Dude I heard things
Jim Breuer is fantastic in this sketch, such an under appreciated talent
Fdr 2024
I use to like Jim Breuer back in the day. I.e half baked. Ect. Saw him do stand up 6 years ago. He was okay. But the more I watched half baked, and other comedy specials of his, the more I realize how annoying he is. He's not even funny anymore. Now just annoying.
@@deathmagnetic12085 yeah after seeing his “stand up” at Qanon rallies i rescind this comment
@@aztecwarrior9511 you had it with Bernie but y’all blew it
@@franklindelanoroosevelt9177 haha hey how's it goin? You interested in a third term my man?
Lost it when he said “Whose joe did you DiMaggio” 😂😂
‘You where better than me?? Better how??’
Everyone needs to appreciate how amazing of an impression Goodman did of DeNiro lol
Goodman's De Niro is perhaps best I've ever seen.
Alec Baldwin kills it too
will sasso also
His Trump impression begs to differ. Also, his De Niro was pretty spot on.
surprisingly very good, although Frank Caliendo's De Niro is practically perfect
Peter McGill Jim Carrey can do a good De Niro
John Goodman is legend.
+Abhishek Mondal You should never doubt Big Man's talent !!!!
His name has some "WEIGHT" to it 😁
Shut the fuck up Donny.
BILL BRAAAASKY!!!!!
@@jimmymoss3240 i love those skits
I would've NEVER assumed John Goodman has a SPECTACULAR De Niro impression in his arsenal.
Darrell Hammond is brilliant. One of the best SNL impersonators in the show’s history.
I heard things....I heard things...
Waju hear? Waju hear?
You mean, "You herd tings."
Anytime i deniro comes up i say this and nobody knows wtf im saying. This line stuck with me
I loved Jim Breuer's Joe Pesci. So intense.
That little laugh is everything. Heheheh.
To be fair to John Goodman, that’s a shampooing good impression of Robert
The further back in time you go, the better SNL becomes.
ok , boomer ..
@Roger Martin lol that's the only thing he made great
My guess is bc you got on snl based on talent
That's right!
@@ywdwarner cringe
I like how The Joe Pesci Show always ends in violence.
Its despicable :D
Thank you! Spoiler Alert
Best night of television 😂 Funfact:this is the last episode of the Joe peshi show.
John Goodman is a very underrated actor. He is a good actor and play most any role that is given to him.
TheJoe Peci impersonator is the best ever. Give that guy an academy award. He damn well deserves it
That's Jim Bruer bro. Look him up he's amazing. A talent that hasn't gotten the credit he deserves
@@cosmicchaos5945 Jim Bruer is awesome; was watching his stand up-dude does family friendly jokes and impersonations pretty good.
@@xxrazaxx 100% my friend. One of my absolute favorites. Ive watched his comedy over and over again. Its always funny even multiple times later. You can't beat that. I want to see him live
kzhead.info/sun/Y5Wmk7t8q2OpiaM/bejne.html watc this dude
Still looking for the one where the real Pesci and DeNiro show up and beat him senseless for mocking them
"Did you shampoo my wife?" Oh, man. I nearly soiled myself from laughing so hard.
Dude Goodmans DeNiro is really good. On point.
That Richard Dreyfuss was dead on
Darrell Hammond is/was arguably the greatest impressionist SNL has ever had.
Just a tad behind Dana Carvey.
Sounded just like him
Jim Breuer is often underrated as an actor but he was superb in this sketch along with John Goodman of course. That takes skills to maintain this dialogue, live, without making a mistake, going.
The dreyfus impression is up there with the very best.
"I heard thayngs". "I heard thayngs". The best lines!
Darrell Hammond nailed it.
Jim Breuer was criminally underrated during his time with SNL!
One of the best SNL skits ever. Breuer and Goodman are at their best.
Darrell Hammond is still THE greatest impressionist in SNL history...
I raise you Bill Hader! Two greats
He's good, but he's no Will Sasso.
Absolutely!!
Darell Hammond is on Saturday Night Live
Phil Hartman's better than all of them
Cheri Oteri has always had a rockin' body.
She's on Saturday Night Live
@@robtru84 yes...we know that
@@robtru84 Wait....what???
Johns actually smoking the stogie, I love his acting true dedication
Jim Breuer and Darrell Hammond were amazing... but John Goodman just killed that... "you broke mr hollands opus" I lost my shit lol
Dam she filled that dress out in all the right places.
Cheri OTeri doesn't get enough credit for her work. Omg she was too funny. She always made me laugh.
I agree. She was talented as hell. And SNL fired her. Never understood why.
@@morpheus6749 Her ridiculous name.
@@ayokay123 Wrong. If they thought her name was ridiculous they would have never hired her to begin with.
Absolutely flawless! To all 3 ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I can watch this all the time. It is so shampooing funny.
Cheri Oteri was really talented, she should have been a top A-list celebrity to this day.
Her, Molly Shannon, and Chris Kattan. They all were the best of that year of SNL
I compare Oteri to a boring drone like Kristen Wiig and it's not even close --- Oteri is far more talented
SNL fired Cheri. Reasons were never disclosed.
She’s way too ugly
ALL thems dames was good. And the fat one too! Was her name? Ah yea! Melisa Somebody! And da lesbian, she was good. Lotta funny ladies on dis show. Lotta funny ladies. - Rupert Pupkin's cat
Cheri Oteri 😍 S-S-S-mokin' 🔥
Cheri Oteri is friggin' GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!😘❤
Yes.
Jim Breuer is the most underrated comedian off all time in my opinion
Joe Pesci: Got my gun here! Everyone: *laughs nervously*
bro XD jim breuer is so funny in this
Jim's cigar is not even smoking
OMG! The best impersonations ever! Jim Bruer is so underrated and Darrell Hammonds Richard Dreyfuss impersonation is dead on! Loved John Goodman's Deniro impersonation!
The button from De Niro jacket is screaming for help
Baciu Marius I just saw that!!!
Ja it was alil tight, a lil tight.
You know that's not really Robert Deniro's button, right?
Baciu Marius ... 😆😆😆 lol!! Too funny! Good one.
@@johnnyhammer wooshhh right over your head
The Richard Dreyfuss impression was hilarious as well!!
OMG, how great is Hammond at playing Dreyfulls, my god!!!
Boy these guys were talented!
When Pesci asked, "Did he (Dreyfuss) just insult me?" the SNL writes blew a golden opportunity. Instead of responding, "I heard things, I heard things," Goodman should have replied, "He insulted you just a little bit, a little bit." (GoodFellas, 1990).
Think they wanted to stay away from "Little bit" lines bc every other TV sketch show with Deniro impression does that line to death! In 90s, there were shows like SNL, Madtv, HBO Hardcore TV , etc..which all did Deniro characters using that phrase. Plus, Alec Baldwin already did it on SNL, before Goodman
Go home get your shinebox
@@rusamene what did you say you mother shampoo you...
You're right... The writers blew a golden moment
Or he could have said: what’s the world coming to? You gonna let this punk say that to you?
Richard Dreyfuss was not a made man; and there's nothing we could do about it
And, that's that.
Oh god! What a great actor John Goodman is. You give him just a line, and he gives back to you a whole character and a movie.
One of the best Saturday Night Live bits I have seen in a long time!
Cheri's body was slammin!
Yes.
My god when SNL was funny. These 4 are absolutely so talented, Jim Breuer as usual kills the Joe Pesci impression.
goodman sounds EXACTLY like bobby deniro when they start doing the lines from raging bull.
🤣🤣🤣
John Goodman is Scarry good
yes
They were all good, you chode
Nihar Behera ty
I heard things ... I heard things ...
I have a notion to second that emotion !!
It's amazing how Darrell Hammond could be such a great impersonator and at the same time be such an run-of-the-mill snl cast member.
You're kidding, right? Hammond did EXACTLY what he was hired to do. He was the everyman who could be counted on to nail his parts...he was not the bombastic chaos of a Ferrell, or a Breuer, but his impressions were top-notch, his subtle performances lent the air of believability to nearly every sketch he was in... Run of the mill??? Hardly. I think you're thinking of Rob Riggle and Jerry Minor (among others...)
@@axelkyster2642Sheesh. You didn't have to scold him for that comment.
One of my all-time favorite skits on SNL!
I was a like skeptical when John Goodman came out as De Niro, but as soon as he squinted his eyes and uttered "A little bit; a little bit" I was sold!! 😆👍
One of the best SNL skits ever - they each had their impressions down, you'd swear it sounds like the real person ! ;-)
Ahhhh you asshole-made me laugh. I know where you pulled this from
Goodmans De'Niro is legit!! And Sheri O was so hot 🔥
I thought it was Marissa Tomei for a moment.
Man these ones are so good .. a different breed
This shows how much of a legend John Goodman really is. He had no business pulling off this impression of DeNiro. Darrell Hammond came in the clutch with this spot on Dreyfuss impression.
i didn't know john goodman could do a great de niro impression
It really surprised me even more than I would recognize.
John Goodman really nailed the DeNiro facial expressions. A little bit.
Oh, my! I had forgotten about that one. All four of those impressions were BRILLIANT and SPOT-ON! I had forgotten John Goodman could do such a great De Niro!
Classic classic! Very funny. Talented people.
Is that Robert de Niro impersonating John Goodman? Damn he's good...
Cheri Oteri was great...always put forth the effort...
I would've never thought that "did you shampoo my wife?" would make me laugh so hard 🤣
This is the best one by far. John Goodman is a National treasure
Both actors pulled off the best impression of Joe and Robert
"Did you shampoo my wife?" I still use this quote!
I had to Google Richard Dreyfus talking, and I'm absolutely mind blown at Darrell's impressions
I know, right?
Watch the Friggin' Giuliani sketch. He does all the celebrity impressions, including Dreyfuss again.
Jake : Joey, I gotta ask you something. Joey: What's that? Jake: It's a question. 😂😂😂😂
Wow, excellent! And the Richard Dreyfuss was spot on!
That Richard Dreyfuss impression is spot on perfect
It’s the little gasps of breath through his mouth that makes his De Niro impression so good
Happy birthday Cheri Oteri!
Talk about channeling Dreyfus to perfection.
Richard Dreyfuss impression was amazing!
Best Richard Dreyfus ever
just saw this for the very first time! This is HISTORIC!!!! A CLASSIC!!
When Goodman say “ I heard things” is very good.
Darrell is the best. Amazing Dreyfus impression.
"I got my gun over here. I got everything!" 🤣
All these impressions are amazing.
i swear everytime goodman shows up to snl, hes like, idc what you want me to play, you know im gona nail it. just make sure my character gives me an excuse to smoke cigars on stage.
