@@brummyboy6858he does not need wardley , hughie won a British title years ago. He schooled hammer who was a former European champion, hes had a lot of time off down to illness. He was never world level but above European level and way above British level

He's been out about 3 years so he needs bit of time to get back. Tyson was the same after his long lay off, he couldn't even put away guys like Pianetta. In a few fights time, Hughie will be back on track and he's only 29 still

Hughie looked like he was trying to get the rounds in rather than the opponent out. He seemed to be throwing arm punches and not planting big bombs because his hips never moved . Perhaps it’s all part of the bigger plan 🤘😎🤘🥊

After the Parker fight I thought Hughie really had potential but he's become a joke. For years we were told he'd be fighting 3-4 times a year and that line is still trotted out after a three year absence and returning against a 10-15 pudding.

Got to echo so many comments here, a nice fella, but not a world-class fighter.
Just never seemed to have stepped up his skillet. Wardley, Clarke all the boys at British beat him quite comfortably but in ugly fashion.
Maybe he'll get better. But didn't look great here. Need some snap in those punches to keep the good heavyweights honest.
