    • My grandpa also and a group of teenagers I knew back in the 80s hit and severely injured by a drunk driver that ran a stop sign into a road that was 55 Miles an hour speed limit. Also a young girl my daughter graduated with was going around some bad curves drunk and killed herself. It's such a shame the bars over serve they don't pay attention.Same at concerts who knows how much booze somebody consumes and then gets into their vehicle to drive home afterwards I never drive drunk never even back in the years when I did drink I would always make sure I either slept in my car without the engine running but I would never drive drunk because of what happened to my grandpa years ago.

      @kellynorris2990@kellynorris29902 жыл бұрын
    • Agree with the over serving. I remember when there were only a couple places to get drunk, at a bar or at home or a friend's house. Point being is I did the concert circuit and they didn't really sell booze at the big places, maybe a beer. Now movie theaters, grocery stores, coffee houses, concert venues, etc....all sell beer/wine if not hard liquor. I feel for people in recovery because there are rarely any non drinking establishments left around anymore.

    • Unfortunately there are police servants who cover up for buddy drunkards' like one in Cedar Rapids, Iowa one killed the whole family of five. It was the parents traveling on vacation with their 1, 3, and 5 year olds. Even with the Breathalyzer test marking over the legal intoxication limit he was not even arrested. It was revealed from inside the department that the cop and the criminal knew each other. And they blamed the weather.

There actually aren't any deaths caused by pot, because the amount you would need to injest in order for it to be lethal is nearly impossible, biologicaly, to even get in your system quick enough. I don't know about driving under the influence of weed but I can garentee that growing up with one alcoholic parent and the other just a pot head, I 100% felt safer with the pot head. When he pulled her over and she said she was at a concert (whether that is true or not, clearly the little girl was with her when she was getting drunk). 2. The fact she was drunk driving on the highway with the child in it. 3. The child was in the front seat unbuckled. 4. He realized how intoxicated she is. 5. He noticed she was concerned about the child being scared but not about the little girls safety but instead she put the child in grave danger. 6. Because of him being in the right place at the right time he was able to remove the kid from that danger and into safety. 7. When those things are all put together and then he opened the trunk to find several stollers he realizes there are probably more children that are in harms way if she doesn't get her priorities in order, putting the children shes in care of ahead of her own selfish desires like going to concerts and getting drunk. Truth, love, and life is the minimum of the promises you get when you have the way... the Lord Jesus Christ is the way and in His love He will cleanse your heart and make you new, leading you into all truth. Imagine if you were drowning and with all your heart you wanted air, well if you search for God like that you will find Him. Jeremiah 29:11-13 (KJV) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. 1 Thessalonians 4:7 (KJV) For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. Hebrews 12:14-15 (KJV) Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Ephesians 4:24 (KJV) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Much love in Christ and may God bless you mightily and abundantly. God is far from the proud but near to the humble. Amen and amen.

One day I rolled thru it like normal and a LEO was right there, pulled me over and got out and screamed and cussed at me at the top of his lungs, telling me how some day I was going to roll thru that sign and someone cresting the hill was going to kill me. I'd never had a cop yell at me like that and clearly he didn't want to scrape me off the road. The next day I dropped my friend off, started to roll thru the stop like normal but remembering the the cop and not wanting to get yelled at again I stopped. Just then a car crested the hill doing about 60 (in a35) and I'm pretty sure if I had rolled thru I'd have been dead. I drove all over South KC looking for that guy to tell him thanks but never found him.

Why would God let someone get drunk and drive with a child in the front seat who's not wearing a seatbelt?...Maybe the Officer should administer some field sobriety tests to God to see if he/she is under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol 🤔 Do you think God will still bless him if he ends up being arrested for an REI (Running Existence while under the Influence)? And if God has the power to bless someone...then why wouldn't he just keep the woman from driving drunk, thus negating the need to bless the officer...yeah, I know, logic sucks.

    • God is not a magic wand first of all. Sorry that you may have been taught that. Possibly you even prayed for a situation and it didn't work out and a church goer, I refrain from saying Christian, told you that you did not pray correctly. Whatever the cause, this driver is stuck in sin nature and I have a feeling she is used to due and that she finally got caught. When ppl are stuck in sin, they were warned and given an out, they chose not to take it. After a while the sinner begins to ignore those warnings and outs, they are in a since either trying to defy the odds or are stuck in a downward spiral where they are so selfish they don't see how their actions and behaviors affect those around them. Regardless God did intervene, maybe the cop felt led to drive that stretch of the road and if so he listened and save at least 2 lives that night. How many times have you felt that you should or shouldn't do something, but being human, you did the opposite and it did not work in your favor?!? That is free choice in action. God isn't messing up this world, it's selfish people who have no regards for others who are messing up this world. We need to start holding people who are part of the problem here on earth accountable, they are the ones refusing to listen and obeying God's laws as well as man's.
