Knew a guy like this, seemed utterly incompetent. Went to military specialty school with him. He struggled with most of the curriculum until the end. He wasn’t even that good of a shot 🤣, but then we did combatives and tactics. Again, did stand out until you realized he beat everyone else. Often just barely and often looked way worse than the other guy, but you could not beat him. Try to choke him out, not going to happen, knock him down, bounces back. His tactics only seemed to work when he was the one executing them. He graduated at the bottom of the class, then disappeared into a three letter agency. It was weird bc we all knew he was smart, he just thought about things very differently from the rest of the class. Rumor was he was SpecWar from another branch.
They also will put people in your group who mess up on purpose. To see how you react as a leader or whatever you are.
Fantastic story telling lesson. Info dump when it makes sense. Keep it interesting. Don't let it go on too long. Add humor.

Well, If you are hung up on that, 2 was not in a position to see it, the woman quite possibly closed her eyes because of the pain in her shoulder from the stab wound, and the driver may have also been focused forward (tunnel vision) due to trying to drive in distracting pain, and may also be lost in his thoughts about 2 pointing a gun at him and that "easy mission" they just had. Also the driver is not what you would call good, as when the lights go out he swerves all around the place rather than closing his eyes, holding it straight and maximum breaking, which you can do without thinking about it - if you make the decision to do so.
You're going to lose it when you realise the traffic light is still showing red after being knocked 15 meters from its pad.

The sad part is everyone he explains his story, two never survives long enough to hear the whole thing
