  • Dake and Snyder, one last go for Olympic gold at the end of our golden era of USA wrestling. Not to say the future is not bright or even more promising but the period of JB DT Snyder Dake and J’den is so special. Good luck to Dake and Snyder in Paris

    • Snyder is on the record of saying he wants to compete for many more Olympic cycles after this. That being said, I agree. I’ll miss seeing JB, DT, Cox and Dake compete.

  • Wow, what a man......to stand up there and honor his father by giving this interview. Thank you for laying it all out there, just like you do on the mat. I looked up his father's obituary, and I could see his father in Kyle. May God bless you and your family in this difficult time.

  • I lost my Dad way too soon also. He was also in a lot of pain and the only thing I can offer Kyle is that his Dad is in no more pain. He wouldn’t want to be suffering or be a burden to anyone. You will always be able to talk to him and have those conversations because you know what he’ll say. Our heartfelt condolences to Kyle and his whole Family. God Bless.

He was a strong silent person who knew his value and worth and never needed to flaunt it. Even though I’ve never met you in person I can tell that are very much like him in many many ways and I know he is proud of you. Be well and may God continue to bless you and yours! 💪🏻

His character and values are unparalleled and will certainly be instrumental in helping him navigate this simultaneously devastating, impossible, and exciting moment.

  • Really sorry to hear that news Kyle, no doubt you've made your Dad proud every step of the way. He'll always be there in spirit too. A friends Mother just passed and this poem was shared: Ascension - And if i go, while you're still here....Know that I live on, vibrating to a different measure - behind a veil you cannot see through. You will not see me, so you must have faith. I wait for the time when we can soar together again - both aware of each other. Until then, live your life to its fullest and when you need me, just whisper my name. In your heart....I will be there. "Colleen Hitchcock"
