Thanks so much for having me on!
Have been watching Tavarish for a long time, this was great!
Mr Neurodivergent Freddy?? I see it in your videos, and am sure on one you might have mentioned something??
You rock! Thanks for all the content
Thanks for sharing Freddie, interesting story 😊
Great chat. I hope you enjoyed your time in the UK. Look forward to seeing you again in uk.
Freddy is such a genuine guy. One of the most down-to-earth, hardworking dude on the biz. Impossible not developing a deep simpathy for this kind of human behing. We love you Freddy!! Please, keep pushing videos!!!
We all Love you Freddy!
i'll be honest i didn't really like him when i first saw him on youtube but over the years i've grown to like him
A spaniard

Imagine doing all the things Freddy is doing AND lending your ear to people that struggle with mental issues. @tavarish: you are a legend. Keep up the great content, take care of yourself a little too and never change that big heart!
Freddy is such a great guy!
The incredible thing about Freddy is that is not a superstar or a billionaire It's just "that guy" It has that friendly spirit with which we all comment
You've hit the nail on the head there!
he is a millionaire and his money is shady. stop glorifying him.
How does this man have less than 10k subs, The pods are great! Been watching Freddy for years, absolute legend.
Wow, thanks!
@@RoadToSuccessOfficialPodcast Honestly mate, The quality of your guests and the interaction is like Joe Rogan for car people. I wish you nothing but success with this.
Just subscribed to your podcast great interview
He's got over 10k now!
Tavarish cracked the youtube code people. No one competes with this automotive genius. Freddie is special yall!
Say it louder for the people at the back!
i think its how much he is and acts like a normal guy. Dude just featured Jay Leno in his last video and didnt even use it as click bait! If that's not top notch humility then IDK what is
To me he's one of the most humble individuals on KZhead, a true Tavarish!
I've seen about 3 interviews with Freddy now and as a long term subscriber to his channel, he just keeps moving up in my respect for him. What a genuinely good person. I can see him helping other KZheadrs, generous with his knowledge and his expertise, and such a nice style. I know he's big now but I think he's only just starting ... can't wait to see where he'll be in 5-10 years time. Look after yourself Freddy and keep up the great work!
look up what he did to jared, and his other friends. stole someones wife too. huge L
What I love is he done this recent move as a way to spend time with people who are doing the same as he is to get him over the imposter struggles.

Who's here from Tavarish' Channel?
ME!!!!
Tavarish is a miracle. Love to watch his optimism and strengh any time. Thanks ❤️🖖
I think McLaren's radio silence is more a result of their legal department than anything. I would be willing to bet the majority of the people working there are enjoying the series and rooting for him.
freddy is such a good guy for having 2.7 million subscribers and coming on this channel with 10 thousand subscribers nice to see him giving back to the little guy
I'm a 86 year old want to be here in Ireland & I'm enthralled with Freddie & his story . Absolutely blown away at the end result of re-build skills . Congratulations & continued success .
I’m 52 yrs old & I really enjoy watching the stuff he puts himself through. I am also an avid buyer of previously damaged cars.
The opening resale value line is priceless 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 brilliant
50:40 Besides them being lovely and honest characters, this is one of the core values of channels like Tavarish or Matt Armstrong. They're showing and teaching and learning at the same time a million ways to solve problems. Some times, exposing shady practices like overpriced parts (same as other brand's generic ones for a fraction of the price), some times creating better solutions for processes that entire departments couldn't solve, and above all, being creative and driven, showing the honest journey along with friends and/or family members. Great talk and great work Ben.
I have so much respect for you Freddie. I’ve been with you for years and will always be here. Best of luck to you
I recall the days of reading Freddy's stuff on Jalopnik (and he was given a sister site if i recall) as Apida, essentially buying and flipping ratty high mileage enthusiast vehicles. If i recall correctly, he was a fellow Jersey guy as well. Congrats on all the success @tavarish you've earned all of it.
That's awesome!
Thank you both for the terrific conversation. And Freddie, thank you for opening up about your personal life and struggles with depression. A similar phase may be appreciating for me. Good to know there may be hope on the other side.
You can tell hes legit. Proper stand up guy. This channel needs more subs
He’s such a good dude
he really is!
I'm not usually into podcasts, but somehow, you've hooked me in with your interviews. To extract the answers from the interviewee giving a deeper insight into their background and their life is really great. It more like two mates talking instead of a staid question then answer, you know, wash rinse repeat. Another subscriber added to your channel.
Awesome interview, Freddy is a part of so many peoples lives with his passion and enthusiasm!
Great podcast, very underrated. One tip though - ask more follow up questions on what the person is saying. For example at the end there, when Tavarish said he's got 4 cars in the UK. What cars are they, why has he bought cars in the UK etc. Keep it up!
Thanks for the tip!
He got a Volvo 240, a Ford fiesta 1.2L, a broken down Rover 200 and an Austin Allegro.
@martinuso7446 Thanks, buddy. Didn't he buy an e36 M3 as well?
You try doing a pod cast and figure it out, and not everyone needs a follow-up question about everything and I think he was doing a good job with Freddie, so keep the criticism to yourself and let them do it their way.
@@stoneman8110 Jesus christ mate, it was just a tip. Did you read the rest of my comment where I praised the podcast? Fucking hell
Really good podcast, been following Freddie for only a few weeks now, he comes across as your mate next door who's just crazy about cars. He's a real genuine bloke what you see is what you get, and very humble. The P1 story is just bonkers lol
What a guy! So chilled out in his approach but very entertaining at the same.
Fantastic video and interview, Freddy is so passionate and honest.. A real inspiration to helping people think about their own mental health. 👍
Ive been watching Tavarish since the Gallardo. Not only is he genuine on screen, as a person, he really enjoys turning wrenches and working on these cars. His willingness to rip apart and get elbow deep into super expensive hypercars gives me so much confidence in my own mechanic work. Like if this guy can fix a Lamborghini with tape, i think i can fix my 07 Tahoe. No problem.
Freddy, is so humble and kind! Seems like a great person to hand around with
My respect to Freddy for doing it all himself
It was a really fun and interesting podcast, thanks Tavarish for sharing stories, particularly early struggles, and thanks Ben for hosting him, I hope you succeed on your way to 100K !
I subscribed to Freddy from the twin turbo lambo build. It’s been a journey. Glad to see him doing better after a rough year.
What a great guy , totally down to earth , great podcast as well
Love the Tavarish channel and follow his builds. My only complaint if I had the have one is I wish he made more videos. Keep up the excellent work, Freddie!!
Ive been watching Freddy since the Black SL55 Mercades when he lived in New Jersey. He restored it a little and planned on manual swapping, but as we all now that never happened lol And been watching every video since Love you Freddy ❤
Love how real Freddy is. I'm sorry he's gone through so much but, we are all here for him and love the content! Hang in there Freddy!!!
He doesn't try to put on a show, he is just a guy that loves cars and has found a way to be elbows-deep in whatever crashed/burned/flooded POS and figuring stuff out as he goes. The genuine nature comes through.
@tavarish you being so open about mental health helped me seek help for anxiety and depression. Keep up the great work buddy.
Ben, you are an excellent interviewer! You have a great way to make your interviewees comfortable, even when discussing difficult subjects. Your interview with Ben Collins was top shelf! Keep it up!
Because of this episode I will somehow enjoy his videos more! It gives me insight into who he is more than the videos do 😊
I’m here from Freddie’s channel but I’m definitely going to support the podcast. Thanks so much to you both!!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Great way to discover this channel, huge fan of Freddy as a Supra guy, you deserve a LOT more subscribers, excellent interview!!
Thank you for sharing what you have been going through! Great insight and keep the videos coming!
I appreciate the openness and vulnerability expressed by Freddy. All the best.
Respect for Freddy So humble such a Gentlemen ☺☺☺
Stumbled across Tavarish, what a great guy. Great interview, well done.
Love tavarish only discovered his channel a couple of weeks ago and was hooked on the p1 build. The quality of the content is so high 🕶️💪🏻
He doesn't stop putting out great content!
And he’s funny
I was born the same year as Tavarish... That's humbling.
Great editing. 👏 so much effort put into this. Keep it up guys
I think Freddy " gets " where he came from, and understands that his fans, and success, are due to the fact he is not from money, or all about money. He is really just a guy that worked hard, saw opportunities, and worked even harder to make them happen. All about his passion for cars, which is just genuine.
Wow....i am impressed and have tons if respect that he does his own production of his content. I was in the same boat thinking he had a staff to help with his production. I am a very small channel and it takes alot of time to do production. I can't imagine what it takes for him to do his.
New sub here - thx to Freddy - and you’re a terrific listener with astute down to earth questions. Cheers from Texas
Welcome aboard!
Such a great guy!
I've been following this fascinating tale from over here in the UK.. I've only just caught sight of the video you made shortly after the divorce.. I can say right out now, your plans back then have been realised a hundred times over. What was before extremely interesting .. it's now simply Compulsive. You're a stand-alone. Bloody Well-Done Old Chum :>)
Great show, happy KZhead recommended it. Always interested in what Tavarish has to offer.
Lovely to see you talk like this Freddy. Very sweet.
40:00 is one of the life lessons that hold gravity
I have respect Tavarish , he does what he loves and that is amazingly awesome . God speed to you and Tavarish . Enjoyed this pod cast
Great honest pod. Love the honesty from Freddy. Top man.
Such an awesome interview and conversation. Thanks so much to both of you for putting this together and sharing it with us all!
Thanks for listening
Dude congrats on getting 15k subs. Also Travarish is definitely one of the few channels that I have been watching since middle school. Now I'm a 2nd year college student and I had a job at a performance shop!
I appreciate that!
I started watching Freddy when I was searching for help with a heat problem in my S Class. Freddy had a video of changing the duo valve on his S Class. I think he was in his driveway in NJ. I performed the same thing on my car and it fixed my heat issue. I’ve been following him ever since.
Tavarish is a BEAST Hes a real life role model, & he has been for me long before this vid, this build hes a boss a real life OG
I found/subbed this guy back when he had just bought the Fast n furious Murci and I thought he was a little nuts, But lo and behold he finished the darn thing and it was spectacular and I still remember how happy he was driving around the 2 lane backroads of central FL (where I live too). I didn't get any impressions from him (then or now) that he has been anything other than an honest guy trying to achieve happiness in his life, and I hope he finds plenty of it to offset of the challenges that make him appear fearless. (or crazy!) All the best to you Freddy.
Watched this whole video! Great pod! Very interesting, you guys killed it!
Just watching this today, great work man, I hope you're having success with the pod.
Really enjoyed this Ben, Freddy is a great down to earth bloke and whom I really enjoy following and watching him. His P1 build is something really special.
you are amazing at what you do, and I hope you consider continuing this because it inspires old dudes like me.
Freddy, Jack, Mat and Chris are absolutely smashing KZhead and in a funny way they are like one super channel making most of the car content I want to watch. Good on you Freddy, you are such a nice bloke and deserve huge success.
It's quite a jump going from "Can't do this any more" to rebuilding a flooded P1. Not just flooded like "The carpets got wet". Flooded like "It busted out of a closed garage and floated down the street"-flooded. The only way to damage it any more than that is leaving it in the path of a wildfire. You couldn't mess it up much more even if you tried. Epic project and I can't wait to see you knock this one out the park as usual.
This man is a brilliant combination of ambition and confidence.
Great video! Thoroughly enjoyed it
Great interview. I have followed Freddy for a long time. I always appreciate his candid conversation. Your questions are fantastic. RTS I wish you well in your endeavors on your channel.
I’m getting divorced. My male friends: “that bit€h! “ My female friends: “ what did you do??” Hang in. There Freddy. 👍🏼
Don't kid yourself @tavarish , people watch your video for you...not just the cars. You are a great "presenter"... you are great in front of the camera! The cars are cool and all but so are you!
What a great video great content. I think Freddie is an absolute gentleman love him to bits. I wish him well so looking forward to the rest of his videos and obviously the end result of the P1 with you all the way Freddie😊😊😊
Opened the video just to skim through it and somehow listened to most if it in one go! Thank you for the video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great interview 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 i started watching him right when ge brought the white lambo 😊 i was addicted to every upload, glad he made it through the rough times 👌🏾
Glad you enjoyed it
Met him at Petrolheadonism Live this year. He was such an amazing guy. Loved him.
Nice interview! Just subscribed!! 10k on the way bro!!!
Great podcast with Tavarish. I know the P1 will look great when it's finished. If could have asked him one question if would be "are you going to keep the P1 when it's done or do you have sell it ?". After the rebuild is done he must be a million+ into it.
Didn’t he pay a million for it from the start.

Always remind people to subscribe. Since you asked for people to subscribe...I did. Was great that you had Tavarish on. Thank you. Looking forward to watching this channel. What I like about Tavarish is he is consistent. He likes to create his videos as he likes his cars-complete. He has grown up from his 19 year old self with the "collection of parts" car).
Tavarish is legend. I had no idea what he had gone through before this podcast and I’ve been watching him for years, having had a 2005 Nissan Maxima (best looking Gen and pre-CVT).
Brilliant interview! Great viewing, so honest ,clever and entertaining Freddy👍
thank you!
Awesome Interview, I still want to See the House Rebuild if Possible ! Thank You, for all Your Videos Tavarish !
Tavarish needs to write a book his story is really interesting
Gents, top show, big fan of you both, loved it. Legends!
Great chat. Very entertaining. I look forward to the next podcast.

First time watching. What an amazing podcast!
I’d just love to shake his hand!👏👏👏👏
🇩🇴 thank you tavarish for representing us all over the world.
That’s always been confusing to me. I’m pretty sure he’s genetically Dominican but actually Russian
Excellent interview, well done Ben!
Thanks so much!
Great interview. I'm going to recommend future videos.
Your interviews are great man!
God bless you brotha been there done that. We still love ya... Keep up the great content.
Freddy generally seems such a nice guy! You can tell what you see in the camera is exactly what you get! Cracking video gents 👏🏻
The best!
What a nice surprise to see Freddy in your podcast. I am following his work since Jalopnik 👍
He was a great guest!
Love Tavarish and his honesty from the uk and a boomer 😂
I’m really enjoying this channel. Being automotive enthusiast Ive been building cars for 40 years. I often wonder if I’m too old to start a YT channel myself. I admire Tavarish for pushing through his obstacles on the road to success.
Age isn't a thing, it's about personality.
This is a great interview and it reminds me why I've been watching Freddy's videos for years. Subscribed!
Awesome, thank you!
Really like Freddy! his channel is always a good watch!
