I agree, I’ve noticed she started appearing more on group tv shows. Where they compete to join the group. I think she is trying to gain the skills and ability’s to teach and learn how to form a group. If soyeon makes her own sub label or her own label . I can see her producing a new group while managing her own. She is so creative and she is a master mind. I can see soyeon being a leading company if she plays her cards right.

What's the point of having a company if soyeon and the other members have to do everything?? It was shocking to hear that the members had to pay half of the budget for the Super lady MV . Isn't that company's job? I don't think I-dle should have the need to stay in the compnay if they're going to take profit from the work idle do and not even do bare minimum to handle the group. At the end of 2023, they also had to prepare for their full album “2” and comeback. That album was released on January 29, 2024. Yes, I-DLE’s schedule was insane, and Nevies were extremely concerned about our gurls’ health and well-being.

Let face it. Like another commenter said, Cube needs Idle more than Idle needs Cube. Soyeon is effectively CEO of the group and wouldn't have much trouble morphing them to an independent group. You know she's been carefully watching people like IU and the Pinks form and run their own agencies so it would be very out of character for our workaholic wonder not to have Idle, Inc. as a backup plan that would also return Soojin to the group. And Cube certainly doesn't seem to be helping matters. You would think after watching the BP/YG disaster, they would be throwing everything they could at Soyeon and the members to keep them, but that doesn't seem to be the case. At this point, I have to wonder what the hell is going on with these agencies? It has to be not only money but ego since any rational businesman would make retaining their top earners their priority. Cube has a history of mistreating their artists, which is why their artists rarely renew their contracts. (G)i-Dle would be better off signing with another company. Rumor is MORE VISION, TheBlackLabel, and P Nation have all indicated they are all willing to negotiate/sign (G)i-Dle, if they leave Cube.

After I watched Kingdom, I was stunned how good BTOB was and fell in love with their music. But I’m a longtime Kpop fan and they should have been on my radar long ago. This just shows how awful they were mismanaged and promoted. I’m glad they left and I hope I-Dle does too.

They really do need their own label because they already do 99% of the work on their own from day 1 and it hasn't changed since. CLC Yujin's Kepler is going to be disbanded, and both CLC ( Seunghee and Eunbin ) are still in Cube. Those 3 members' future beyond 2024 are still not clear.

The best thing that Gi dle can do is leave the company together and start their own independent agency. Like the video said, they are basically funding everything themselves. They were most likely had to promote under another name because cube Q entertainment will be petty by not giving them the rights to the name.
The girls should be able to retain the name of G-idle if the precedent of G-friend is to be followed. The current thinking is that the courts look to the name as an extension of the members and not as a property of the company after the completion of the 7 year contract.

I hope that Soyeon buys the trademark from CUBE. She creates her own label put her group in there so they have more freedom than what they have over at CUBE. If they do get their own label, does that mean their former member Soojin can rejoin the group (ever since CUBE forced her out, you can tell in Soyeons compositions of the songs, theirs always a Hint of Soojin in the music and in the Music Videos (aka NXDE and Revenge)
if they do go their own way I would love for them to still be a group and make music their voices are just so unique and their music always had a positive message behind it while being very catchy If not then we just have to wish them the best.
What's clear to me is that they are in a better position to choose and decide if what CUBE offers them is enough or not. They might not even be interested in considering the option of staying? Who knows... but I'm excited to know what the future holds for them...!

If (G)-idle got mistreated by Cube, then CLC had it worse as it got mismanaged and mistreated by Cube with its flip flop of music concepts, withholding CLC Elkie acting fees for 2 years ! Denied CLC to go to an invitational event in USA and famously sold off CLC comeback song. Compared to CLC, (G)-idle had it easy. Then again, (G)-idle have Soyeon.

Also, before anyone thinks I am crazy that (G)I-DLE is joining Soojin's label and that her solo career is a tactic to make netizens like her again: BRD Communications is only formed 1 year ago, it sprung up out of nowhere, it's still mysterious to this day and the CEO isn't even a known billionare or anything. So where did the decent budget for Soojin's debut which was a risky bussiness move to begin with, come from? I am willing to bet (G)I-DLE are the investors of BRD Communications and the CEO is a bussiness partner Soyeon made when she looked into starting her own company.

at this point i think if in the end idle doesn't renew the contract (I hope so), many agencies will be lining up to get idle. Who doesn't want to have a group like Idle? Their name is already big, their album sales are good, they can produce their own concepts and songs, soyeon can make her own remixes for shows, they are very good when appearing on variety shows, and most importantly they can become role model for trainees. but I wouldn't be surprised if soyeon would create her own agency.
