Interesting. Haven't played that one yet but I've heard nothing but good things. It's been in my backlog for a while now. I'm not even particularly a fan of the Smurfs but I may have to keep an eye on this one, especially since I love 3d platformers like life itself.
Marsupilami got absolutely nothing on Tropical Freeze masterpiece. Its a pure ripoff of DKTF
@@CheckmateStallioN It is possible for two different but similar games to both be good. And yes, some games are inspired by other, more well known games, that doesn't invalidate them. And expecting anything to live up to a masterpiece is usually just going to end in disappointment.
@@CheckmateStallioN Its similarities to Tropical Freeze and Returns was precisely what drew me to that game in the first place, seeing as there hasn't been a new DKC installment in years. To me, Marsupilami: Hoobadventure was the next best thing.
Oh, I hadn't seen! Thanks for pointing that out! That makes me a lot more excited for it. I did love Marsupilami Hoobadventure. I did not enjoy it as much as Rayman Legends, but I enjoyed it more than DKC Returns (I have not played Tropical Freeze yet).

I believe that Microids buying the Smurfs to turn them into a video game series since the original franchise is never seen again because of the three movies that have negative reviews from critics. But i love the three Smurf films, it's nostalgic and rememberance. Including the upcoming movie and Tv series.
I got The Smurfs 2: Prisoner of the Green Stone for my birthday last weekend. It's fun, but too action-focused for my preference. It looks like this one might have a different gameplay style!
