Here is a quick flight with audio on my beloved P70 known as "Otto's Ace". I figured I would do a video like this since I fly my plane all the time and would love to give the audience a perspective. Will do another video of landing at a grass strip and a dirt strip aswell.

Found your channel from the 300TD videos (in process of buying one). Was pleased to find the flying stuff as well. Agree with your comments, nothing beats the satisfaction of tailwheel. My old champ has taught me more about airmanship than any other bird I’ve flown.
What a sweet plane!
Thank you! 🙏
Been waiting on this!! Great job and very motivating 👍👍
Thanks for watching!
@@SirDriftolove your content. Just watched the end and yeah, would love to see some off airport stuff. And if you plan a trip to Oshkosh one day, you should come a week early and swing by Brodhead for the annual Pietenpol gathering. You would be in good company.
So rad!
Thanks! 🙏
Awesome, nicely done 👍💪
Thanks for watching!
Cool Video! I thought it was a Pietenpol. Nice airplane. Couldn't agree with you more on tailwheel flying! Fun flying at it's best!!
Thanks for watching!
Happy landins.. that is cool little aircraft
thank you!
I believe I met you in Wheatland, Wyoming, and we had a nice conversation about this plane. I took a lot of pictures.
Yes I sure did fly it up there. I remember talking with you. Hope all is well!
That looks as though it flys about like my Pietenpol. I cruise same speeds, even w/my A65. I test flew a nicely built Acey Deucy a few years back (N2246P). I came very close to pulling the trigger to buy it and regret that I hadn’t. Someone else got it. She resides in TX… she was a real beauty… the one that got away 😢 (having same fun w/piety though, so all is not lost)
I wonder if it’s still flying? Where are you based out of? Love Pietenpols
Yes it IS flying. It’s a very nice example flying.. very clean. Built in ‘94. Has an 0-200 Conti like yours. I spoke w/original test pilot that flew the first ten hours on her. He mentioned that it was perfectly rigged from the get go… wished he had bought it as well. I’m not on twitter, etc, or i would fwd some pic’s, but you can google image the tail # .. it’s all yellow w/a black Cub stripe along side of fuse. My Piet: now based T13 (just SE of Dallas). I enjoy watching your content .. very well done 👍
Could you put sand bags for wt in the back seat and fly in the front seat for better visual? Albeit you would need some gages, but that would not be hard to do.
If I had brake controls up front that could happen
Ahh. Yeah breaks are important
More!
What would you like more of?
Any with your P-70. @@SirDrifto
You mentioned the cockpit fitting you well; whats your ht & wt? thanks
5’9” 150lbs
😁👍
Are the plans still available?
That’s a great question, I’ll ask around.
Thankyou
