@@smashbro5 This is true! Companies tend to see what concept is working well and model their group that way. Twice was the resident cute girl group alongside G-Friend. And both were successful in their own right (Twice far more but I'm sure you get my point). But when Black Pink solidified Girl Crush and brought it back from the 2NE1, 4Minute era, and then became overwhelmingly successful through it, the switch happened. Even boy groups who started out 'cute' became 'darker' or have dark elements now (Seventeen, Treasure, TXT etc though I also think for them, darker means more matured, idk). So this cute concept is such a surprise welcome compared to what is currently the mass kpop sound. Same thing applies to New Jeans. That 2000s sound even while singing about 'cute' things, puts them in a much different category that's appealing and nostalgic for some.
Sadly 3 members contracts were terminated and only 1 member is left so we probably will never hear this song with all the members in a long time probably forever

Fifty Fifty will have a comeback in June with new members but It remains to be seen if the new lineup will be able to match and live up to the familiar voices of the original members. Personally, i have this feeling that they wont. I think its better to start from scratch and create a new group identity.
I love this type of success, slowly paving their way and winning people's heart and gaining fame. And the fact that they didn't debut long ago and are from a small company yet already charting on billboard is such a cherry on top. They are gaining fame solely on their music quality and not because of already famous companies.
I'm a Korean. I started as an idol under a large agency in Korea and started by forming a fandom from the beginning. I am a person who is dissatisfied with the Korean music charts, which are not well known to the public, although they are easy to chart in and top charts in various music charts apart from musicality. I prefer this kind of fashion method, where the public listens to music and is curious about the singer without knowing the singer, starting from a small business like this. And I love stories like this. Isn't that the case with most of life? Singers are also a part of their own lives. That's why I like narrative idols like my ex-girlfriend.

It's really impressive the amount of likes they got in just a few days. This really shows also that when songs get viral, they logically get more likes too alongside the views. That's how it works when it's organic. This MV got more likes than so many other new ones with 2x to 5x more "views", you know what I mean. Anyways I'm just proud and happy because for ONCE people are giving a chance to a group from a company they never heard of, just based on their music and it really feels like this never happened since STAYC despite so many other groups having great music. So I hope the kpop fans continue like this.
