If you hear songs from 80s and earlier it’s so clear because alot of it was done in house. For the present time take Billie Eilish… her production and engineering is in house by her brother. The sounds are so crisp and clear and he uses special mics… sooo incredible to listen to!!! Recording and production is the most important part of an artist.

    • Agreed! Most Americans dislike Kpop bc of the outdated/overproduced music, but especially bc of Kpop star’s voices sounding annoying or cringey. This song doesn’t have any of that, and this might be the first Kpop song to actually be well-liked and accepted by Americans, which would be huge for this groups and Kpop as a whole.

  • Not many people I see are talking about it, so I will talk about how Sio's "I'm so lonely" part ALWAYS hits, it's so addicting and satisfying. The way she uses her voice to actually sing like she's "crying in my room" is amazing. I'm a big fan of the way she controls her voice.

    • @@socrates1547 not sure if you're really needed this type of answer 1st Gen: Fin.K.L, G.O.D, SECHSKIES, S.E.S, H.O.T... and many other legendary groups promoted during the same era, mostly 20 years + since their debut 2nd Gen: SNSD, 2NE1, SISTAR, Apink, F(x), Super Junior, Big Bang, 2PM, BEAST (now HIGHLIGHT).....and many other great groups with shit tons of bangers promoted during the same era, being in the industry for more than 10 years since debut 3rd Gen: BTS & EXO (these 2 are likely the start of 3rd gen), BtoB, Red Velvet, Twice, Black Pink....and many other groups that are still actively promoting in nowadays, some of em are already 10 years old hopefully this helped a little

  • Sio's "I'm so lonely" makes you feel real emotions on that line it's really iconic. Saena's harmonizing with the chorus adds a unique flavor to the song and it's so dreamy. Keena's part in the second verse compliments and gives off a cool personality and vibe to the lines. Aran's whole and unique voice rounds up the whole piece as a perfect song. Just listening to the song without having to know the languages makes you feel the emotion and message of the song and I love it. FIFTY FIFTY, FIGHTING!!! 💖💖💖💖
