Since people were starting to ask if Poppy was changing from white to brown, I figured it was time for the girls to have a bath!
I also thought it was about time to go get some new bathing supplies since I’ve been using watered down shampoo for the past year😂

Rootbound plant like that cucumber you had where it was just the whole pot full of roots. My dad taught us to take our fingertips or even a little fork and slowly break the dirt out around the roots so they could grow into the soil as you plant them.

Poppy looks whiter but Petunia behaved better getting bathed. I’m surprised they didn’t run around like crazy afterwards too! They’re still adorable!! I love seeing them do anything because they’re so cute!! ❤❤❤

If it gets too hot on your deck put you patio umbrella over the plants. You are correct to not water at the peak of the day because you could cook your plants. I am excited to see where they go.

They were so relaxed after bathtubs 😌😌
Top tip when bathing animals, keep an empty shampoo bottle and when it’s bath time pour some shampoo into the empty bottle, top up with water and give it a shake. Once the animal is wet all over squirt the diluted mix all over and scrub in well. If you put neat shampoo on your hand and put it straight on the coat a) it makes it really difficult to get it to spread to clean an area. You end up with a centre point of concentrated shampoo (that’s then a bugger to rinse out) against their skin and the shampoo won’t spread very far at all and b) NEVER put neat shampoo direct on to the skin, shampoo is VERY concentrated and can cause a reaction. Using the spare bottle and dilute method I found I used aprox HALF the quality I would normally use but would get the same results plus it was MUCH EASIER to rinse out (also you can squirt it into those awkward crevices like behind and around the elbow and underbelly making life much easier!)

You can't. Flushing one flushes both. Katie and her fam pinch twin embryos and choose to be responsible breeders. Twins in horses are incredibly dangerous and have too many complications. Usually ends up with the mare dead or the babies or all of them. Now with other animals like heifers and goats, there's obviously less of a risk with twin pregnancies. But yeah, flushing one flushes both. Trying to only flush one wouldn't work.

Poppy & Petunia are so cute. I love Highland cattle & the minnis are even more adorable I like the mini horses & donkeys too. I'm curious about poppy's coloring. That she white or light colored but has the dark brown nose/ mouth, ears & feet of I remember correctly. Do you know about the reasoning for that coloring? Do you have pictures of the parents.
