@@prowlingtiger2226 the 3ds can run xenoblade a huge Wii game just fine it could run Mario sunshine if Nintendo wanted it to. Mario sunshine was a gamecube game just like Luigis mansion that just got remade for 3ds captain toad a Wii u game got ported to 3ds so did numerous others it could run just fine on the new 3ds. But that being said Nintendo won't port this to 3ds I'm sure because the controls would probably be to hard to translate to 3ds since it doesn't have pressure sensitive triggers. I can see then one day maybe bringing it to the switch with a new control lay out though.

None of the events of the game ever actually happened, his lab/gallery/training room as well as the mansion don’t exist and Luigi + Mario were actually participating in Mario Kart Double Dash for the entirety of the game.

@@AniMariBro Well now that I look at it, it's a combination of both. See, the PAL version flips the mansion so everything is backwards. Whereas it would appear this version doesn't. However, it does have the extra ghosts from the PAL version. (Other versions just increase the damage you take from hits). So yeah, it has extra ghosts. (Which sucks they should've flipped the mansion too).

For the curious ones, Mario’s icon at the end of the trailer was not used in the Gamecube version. However, the icon is still in the game’s files.

I love how this game is in the "3DS best sellers" playlist despite the fact that it came out like ten hours ago...
Maybe they take preorders into account for that. It is pretty odd though.
It probably a marketing tool use by Nintendo to sell the game more. Making casuals thinking the game is good because it has "Best Sellers" on it.

Even if i played the GC Original, I WANT to see this Game in 3D like the second one on 3DS Most ppl ignore the 3D Option, but i love to see the "deeper perspective" in Games like this one.
I only learned recently that the original was supposed to have 3D visuals, so it’s nice to see that concept fully realized.
I like the 3D feature, I literally never turn it off! It's like looking through a window as opposed to looking at a flat screen!

God, I can't wait to get this! I absolutely loved Luigi's Mansion on the good ol' GameCube! The new features and content in the 3DS version look amazing!
Actually I have this game The reason I buy these because I didn’t have a game cube or Luigis mansion discs so the only way I could do it was to get Luigis mansion 3DS port but I still love the game even with the minor changes one of the reasons is because of all five floors one roof and three floors and one basement I sometimes got stuck in the hidden mansion but it was OK I also bought Luigis mansion dark moon as well I always try to play online but I can’t because no one else is trying to go online but if there’s anyone who wants to join me and help me well go ahead!
Hope this version gets remastered on the Switch after 2’s updated port. Since the multiplayer is canon, they can have it run off 3’s engine so it can be couch co-op
I got this back on the 3DS eshop in 2019 and played it really fast over maybe 3 days. However, I still have nostalgia over listening to the chuggaconroy gamecube let's play wayyyyyyyy before that (in like 2013) so this game will always be one of those special time capsule experiences to me. I am about to replay from scratch once more, on my (New)3DSXL. Wish me luck!!

I am really looking forward to it then. I played dark moon when it came out and since then i have played it at least 5 times. So if this is better I will be stuck to my Nintendo 3DS permanently
@LuigiDude Well, considering the Switch is a handheld hybrid, there will probably be mission based format. It's the same reason why Super Mario Odyssey has moons littered everywhere.

@LuigiDude Being handheld as well as a home console means some people use it as a handheld primarily while others use it solely as a console. Handheld users tend to play in many short bursts of time, so to make the game not feel like it's dragging on and on, the mission format is designed for at least one or two levels to be completed in a sitting. Again, it's the same reason why Odyssey has moons everywhere; it's so that, no matter how little time you have, you still feel like you accomplished something in your time, rather than just moving a little bit closer to the only thing there is to do. TL;DR: Missions make it easier for handheld users to play at their pace.

I am so glad to see the strobulb as a feature in the original game. I'm also happy to see Nintendo paying homage to Dark Moon while also paying attention to detail by not forcing us to rework our muscle memory.

I checked my 3ds yesterday and day before that because I couldn't wait till I can play it and really worth it. I never completed the 1st but feels like it's still same but with new things in the game.
Amazing. Now bring out the rest of my beloved gamecube library on the 3ds such as Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime1/2, Paper Mario TYD, Sonic Adventure 2, etc. Makes me happy seeing my old favorites on the handheld honestly.

For one thing at first I didn't really think that Luigi Solo Games would work with out being able to play as Mario since Mario has been was the only one I ever played since my Childhood of course in some of the Mario Games I also played as Luigi and in some I only played only as Mario since some were solo Mario Games but for one thing I tried out the solo Luigi Games starting with the Luigi's Mansion 1 Game on Game Cube then I took back everything I really enjoyed way more than most of the solo Mario Games I've played and right now I already have Luigi's Mansion 1 on both Game Cube and 3Ds as well I also have Luigi's Mansion 2 Dark Moon on my 3Ds and Luigi's Mansion 3 on my Nintendo Switch witch now I am actually wondering if the company are going to continue the sequel of Luigi's Mansion and make Luigi's Mansion 4.

@Autist First of all, I am praising your name. Second, no hate, but Mario has gone through so many more dangerous things, that I doubt the fact that he would ever get scared by a ghost. Luigi has done some steel ball stuff too, but he still has a sense of human.
