  • They just got this so right. As a Scouser I was really nervous, as I was expecting the same old stuff from the sixties and Macca getting wheeled out at some point. This was phenomenal though. The song choices were brilliant. Having them sung by Eurovision stars from across the continent was genius, and the emotional power of the climax was even enough to make me overlook that 'You'll Never Walk Alone' is as American as Mom's Apple Pie. I don't think they could have articulated 'United by Music' in a better way. Beautiful.

    @TheUnclepete@TheUnclepete Жыл бұрын
    • YNWA was made popular by a Scouser though and his cover is the most famous version not to add that Liverpool Football Club made it an even more global anthem as they introduced the song to millions. So, it's very fitting in the Liverpool Songbook.

And many gonna get those songs and replay so they aren't forgotten in any means or less actually, people gonna play them anyways winner or not! And its about more than a winning sometimes they win in a way by being there and give light to themselfes and those countries that participated. We need music than more negative distress all about how people choose to see things. Its still a good break to have and see sometimes

  • gosh even months later, I bawled by eyes out at YNWA... From suffering with Mental Health Issues, Eurovision literally saved me in 2021 and meeting new friends during the pre parties, to being there in person was something special... I don't think Martin and the ebu knows just how special Eurovision really is

  • I know late to the party but just watched that back after live on the night where I was a bubbling wreck starting with Imagine, then the Euro Camp covers of Dead or Alive, Atomic Kitten (my highlight, I was dancin my Tits off) Mel C, then to bring on HRH Sonia I thought I was gonna die but kudos to all the acts ….damn Liverpool you put on the most awesome show & proud to be a Brit! Albeit I’m a Scot & we lost out to you but wow wow wow!! You’ll never walk alone sung to our Ukraine brothers & sisters just ended me ❤❤❤❤❤❤
