  • I love that when the swedish comenators were presenting austrias song they said something along the lines of "This is actually not the first time Edgar Allen Poe has been mentioned in eurovision, he was actually mentioned in a song in the 90s, and if you knew that youre probably not entirely heterosexual"

  • finally someone agrees with me about those unnecessary dance breaks! Of course they're all good dancers, but I don't need a dance performance at a song contest! If you can't give a good show without a dance break then it just seems like they knew the singing wouldn't be enough for people to vote (except for Brunette, she has a great voice!)

    @imagine_sofia@imagine_sofia11 ай бұрын
    • Agreed! I didn't think dance breaks were gonna be overdone within 1 year of Chanel doing it but here we are. Especially Israel's is annoying as shit, "dO yOu WaNnA sEe Me DaNcE" no stfu this is a song competition not your dance recital. Gives me zero interest in actually listening to the song again too lmao.

    • Yes, I'm also not in favor of dance breaks, and why does it always have to be women? Why not Andrew Lambrou or the Swiss guy or whoever else....and after her dance break, she didn't even sing anymore, at least Poland and Armenia did. But with Armenia, I mean, it's not even a dance song, it's a slower number that goes faster, but it really doesn't fit into that song. Why? I care about singing and music, not about dancing.

  • i honestly thought that this years evrovision was much less entertaining than the previous years but this year i didnt have that kind of comptetitive feelings cuz there were lots of countries that i liked to listen and whoever won will be fine for me. I was happy that after 5 years my country Croatia was finally in the finale so this year was also somewhat special...until the voting part started. I couldnt belive that there were so many amazing songs at the last place and were given by the jury votes such a low place. I didnt have any problem when it comes to voting from all around the world i actually supported that part but the jury votes...i never liked them and never will since they mostly are pushing sum countries for better political reasons rather than good performance and songs.I truly love Loreen and i belive song Euphoria was one of the best and most known Eurovision songs in the entire competition, she was a cultural reset but this song Tattoo was just not it..not for a first place that is. Shes definetly in the top five tho. the audience wanted Finland this year no matter if theres someone who doesnt like his song we all knew that ppl voted a lot for Finland and if it wasnt for jury votes yet again ( that purposely pushed Sweden in the first place since next year will be 50 anniversary of Abba so they pretty much knew who to send this year that will put Sweden in the first place ) next year Eurovision would be held in Finland. Im happy that Croatia was placed on 13th place i honestly thought that we would be on the last place since the jury wasnt giving us any hopes at all but yet again the televotes helped us a lot. Also no matter how much i dont like Germany this year i still think its insane that Poland had more points than Germany or Serbia that i truly loved to see this year. Spain, France (also i loved the moment when she showed a middle finger slay queen), Austria,Cyprus, Portugal, and many MANY other songs deserved so much better in this competition. i cant belive that this year they are not even hiding the fact just how much politics are connected into this show (i mean we all knew that already but at this point its just disturbing and sick) so i really hope that maybe one day they take the jury voting off for real. they are really destroying the competition. just leave the televotes who cares about the jury voting since they always tend to rob someone. Congrats Sweden but man....

    • I will start saying yeah Eurovision was and is 50% about politics but now y’all so negative about the jury vote. Do you know how many successful songs won because of the juries? Arcade 2019 was voted mostly by them yet became a huge hit. As we speak now it’s close to 1B streams on Spotify. Unlike Mahmoud who was liked by the Eurovision audience that year only. I will not bother to give more examples because you can see it with ur own eyes but all the winners have won because of the juries but now u aren’t happy. Loreen is a powerhouse no matter the year, if she participates again she will WIN again. Y’all act as if she didn’t had 243 points from the world. Y’all forgot that she is loved by the world as well. Y’all forgot she is super talented. Eurovision is a song competition and the juries were the first thing we had back then. Until sadly they decided to give us the right to vote as well. You should be grateful u can vote for your favourite artist. If jury vote stop existing in the show. Y’all gonna vote only the songs that are fun and corky🤪 what about lyricism? Stage presence? Melody? Composition? Production? That’s why juries voted Loreen because she was the most professional out of all them that night. That’s why also Italy got a lot of points from them. Because they had really beautiful songs and meanings. Y’all thought people who have study singing/music would vote for this annoying cha cha cha? Now I think we should agree that juries are a little bit harsh but y’all unfair as well. You clearly don’t know how to vote. So maybe we should call it "popularvision" if y’all want ur vote to count only. We need balance. We need fun and quality. As of abba I want to know how much free time you had in ur life to think that as a possible reason for the juries to vote for Loreen? Like as if they couldn’t perform in Finland huh? Abba aren’t just Swedish anymore. They are international they could easily be anywhere. They had their moment this year as well. So don’t try to find reasons that was rigged or staged. Yeah Sweden is the golden kid of Eurovision but without them we wouldn’t have the Eurovision we have now. They love this show and they take it seriously. They are so happy hosting. I know y’all will forget about Finland when next year Sweden will make the best show ever. If u don’t like the results in a “competition" then don’t watch Eurovision. Since y’all that sensitive. Käärijä would never be that powerful as maneskin who won over the juries vote. Lastly your country being 13th because of televoting is my 13th reason why audience shouldn’t vote. I love Croatia and I hope one day they will win but no with this. Songs like cha cha cha and mama sç is why a lot of people don’t take Eurovision or us seriously and rightfully so.

    • @@famemosterrrrr bruh tattoo was a good song but the lyrics aint that deep honestly, she had a good performance just like france or other countries so we didnt lack with that. Just because u like more passionate songs doesnt mean that other ones are less good. Abba is international but hey THEY PRESENTED SWEDEN. Dont assume that sweden is lTHE ONLY ONE whos making this whole show going. There are many ppl out that that support loreen just like i do but still doesn’t appreciate the fact that its been over 2 years and we already know whos going to win. Of we knew already the winner what is the joy of watching this competition then? U like this year winner, thats great good for u, i dont, and thats it.

      @yomamma9069@yomamma906911 ай бұрын
    • @@yomamma9069 the lyrics ain’t deep but the were written very beautifully and well produced. Also her stage presence was amazing. Abba represented Sweden but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t sing or make a tribute about them in any country. Even tho I don’t think anyone thought about 50th anniversary until Loreen won. Just because you aren’t happy about her winning. My girl deserved it so much. Also yeah Finland would be the winner? Where? In your own world maybe. I’m happy for the results but this is Eurovision because a competition isn’t fair at all. Either suck it and don’t act like a pussy or don’t watch it ever again. Like it’s so simple😌 people gave 5 points to Spain and 386 points to Finland and now u demand only public voting. Y’all must be insane. You also voted for Ukraine last year to make ur not political statement since u say that juries vote for politics🙂. Think again if we don’t need the juries.

    • I think both of y’all are partly right. However it’s a song contest made to bring people and countries together, sure Sweden was “favored” but it doesn’t mean that nobody had a fair chance at this years Eurovision. The songs were great, I’m Croatian and was rooting for Sweden Finland and Croatia. Kärjää and Loreen don’t need this hate rn. And Diaaaa don’t make fun of other countries for what kind of song they had.

    • Have you seen his live performance? Maybe he would have taken vocal lessons and could have improved in Liverpool, but it needed to be a huge improvement, in order to even make it to the final. And even if sung by a better singer and rapper, I don't think, it would have won either, it's just not memorable enough. Maybe it would have qualified, though.
