We love TATA motors Cheaper cost low maintain Higher performance love u TATA motors
Glad to see AVM from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 on the list. Grew up there in the 80s & 90s and used to see these trucks all the time. A number of AVM's buses from that era are still running today.
7:02
It was from 1961 upto 2010, Zimbabwe suffered political unrest. We don't know the consequences.
@@zahan5683 Not sure if AVM is still building buses & trucks right now, but there is current (2022) footage of the vehicles still running on Zimbabwe's roads. I'm sure they at least still make some spare parts because their vehicles have withstood the test of time and have been driven across thousands of miles of rugged dust roads across the rural areas of the country. Their design are simple, but very well built.
Missing Alfa Romeo in Italy. Also you should explain that many brands nowadays don't make trucks anymore, or have been merged into other ones, for example Fiat merged Fiat Veicoli Industriali, OM, Lancia Veicoli Speciali, Magirus and Unic and created Iveco. Also Pegaso and Saurer were both bought by Fiat and are part of Iveco now. Etc. Nice idea tho.
Lol the brazilian fnm was an alfa romeo/fiat
also ARCO and fargo from Portugal
Also chinglong made in china
My dad has a Alfa Romeo car
@@craven499😁😁😁
Good editing brother😂😂, i wonder how Zastava Trucks time travelled to 19991 and came back to 2017 to close their company 😂
Lol 😂😂
it hauled time itself :D
19991, это до нашей эры, вы не понимаете.
As a Bosnian I confirm this fact

Ford F-Max is definitely not manufactured in US nor sold in North America, only the brand was American. It is from Turkey known as Ford Otosan and there is also the Chinese counterpart not included in the list which is JMC Motors. Another heavy truck model is the Ford Cargo which is from Brazil by Ford Caminhoes. No more Ford heavy truck manufactured in the US, it’s remains as legacy brand only.
if it`s a modern truck it can`t be engineered and built in US, they are too weak in engineering.
Sterling is the Ford in American now. (edit: well, Sterling is no longer being made, but it was what was made when Freightliner bought out the Ford commercial truck factory and lines. )
@@leotimtom6637 clearly you've never seen a C500 before
Is this jiangling motors in China? Is that the factory that Volvo is going to buy in Taiyuan, China?
@@wowwow12138 yes it is, but apparently it will not push thru anymore as Volvo already backed out from the deal.
3:52 Zil manufacturer is dead from 2007. Nowadays there are apartments on the place of destroyed factory) Also, I can remember 2 more Russian truck makers, but their's main products are army trucks. - BAZ. Manufacturer which is alive today, they have even shown prototype of civilian truck- Baz S36A11 - KZKT- it's like MZKT, but in Kurgan. Was closed in 2011.
И никто не вспоминает ГАЗ. Не обижайте Шишигу😢
There were also 2 truck companies in Mexico, one of which became important: Camiones Ramírez Tractocaza
0:10 it's like MAN and DAF had a baby 💀

You missed Bedford and Sentinel from the UK, and you got Leylands dates very wrong, by almost 100 years.
Kudos for the countrys who still makes their own stuff, there's nothing worst in life than depending on somobody else
Fun fact, in some models of FAP trucks, they had a Mercedes-Benz engine, which was pretty cool for that time.
Missed Guy, Dennis, and Karrier from the UK. Chevrolet and Studebaker from the USA. No doubt I've missed loads more, just a few off the top of my head.
Nice video. I am sure there were several manufacturers that were overlooked, such as Diamond REO and Diamond T, both of which were also USA trucks. I know you probably couldn't fit all makes into the video. That being said, it would have been a bit more entertaining to see some examples of trucks on both ends of the manufacturing spectrum, for instance, if a truck maker began making trucks in 1938 through 1984 for example, a truck from the early days around 1938 and a final model from 1984 or about that time would be nice, just to see the lines progression.
@ Derek Walker, I agree if a truck manufacturer is still going they should have put up a picture of then and now so we can see the comparison.
Газ и СССР
You guys forgot XCMG but I'm greatful that you added my most favourite truck from my childhood which is the sinotruk

Awww algeria SNVI was included, sonacoms trucks and buses are very strong and powerful without turbos
Scania ❤ 🚌🚛🚚
I love all things Bedford!!! They were great trucks. I had several tk cattle trucks and wanted to get a tm. Just like British motor bikes most of the great truck makers in the UK have gone. I often wonder what a Bedford truck of 2022 would look like!!!

Bro Australian truck doesn’t look like that at start 💀💀
I never knew britain still had truck manufacturing going. All I see on the roads are DAF, Mercedes, Scania and Renault mostly. I see Foden hauling fairground rides here and there but I’ve not heard of some of the others listed.
DAF lorries are made in the UK at their factory in Leyland, Lancashire. It used to be the old Leyland truck factory. Leyland vehicles were taken over by DAF, and when DAF went bust, there was a management buyout of the Leyland plant that carried on building trucks with the DAF name. The company is now owned by Paccar but the DAF name was retained.
@@sproutandkidneysoup2296 Interesting. I only knew DAF as a Dutch company.
4:16 19991 year 😉🇷🇸💪🏻FAP and Zastava
You forgot also Ten Cate trucks , Terberg , Studebaker , Mol , Ginaf & Thornycroft . But i have enjoy very well your video . Kind regards appel from the south of france . 😊👍
I can hardly find anything about Ten Cate on the internet. Maybe you could write a few things about it because I love trucks. E.g. When did they start production, in which country? What engine was in it? How heavy was it? etc. Thank you very mutch.
Happy to see Chinese Companies
They seem to have missed International Harvester. They used to build trucks, who outlived their tractor manufacturing
@TruckTropia Berna in Switzerland made the last Truck in 1987. In 2003, Berna, which was involved in surface metallurgy after building trucks, was sold by Saurer.
MITSUBISHI FUSO💪

Interesting list that is a good starting point but not exactly comprehensive. I think there are at least another 100 manufacturers alone that are still in production.
great share, thank you
love india truck
dont forget PERKASA TEXMACO from Indonesia
Preslav was manufactured in Bulgaria, not in Belgium. And on the photo is a mercedes truck, not Preslav. The years of production are wrong too. 0:53
Just an additional info regarding German trucks: Büssing was bought by MAN, Henschel (in fact Hanomag-Henschel) were bought by Mercedes-Benz (Daimler-Benz). BTW MAN, Scania and VW Trucks (Brazil) are owned by Volkswagen Group.
Int'l also owned by VW
Actually they belong to Traton Group which, by its turn, belngs to VW AG. And the American brand that belongs to TRATON Group with Scania (Sweden), Volkswagen Truck & Bus (Brazil) and MAN (Germany) is Navistar.
Truck Tropia, I want to correct you. FAW Jiefang in China was founded in 1956, not in 2003, and is the earliest automobile manufacturing factory in PRC!
تحيا الجزائر ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Still using my metal ERF key ring from 30 years ago. 😊

Hino Trucks have been assembled in Ireland since 1968
A truck or lorry is a motor vehicle designed to transport freight, carry specialized payloads, or perform other utilitarian work. Trucks vary greatly in size, power, and configuration, but the vast majority feature body-on-frame construction, with a cabin that is independent of the payload portion of the vehicle. Smaller varieties may be mechanically similar to some automobiles. Commercial trucks can be very large and powerful and may be configured to be mounted with specialized equipment, such as in the case of refuse trucks, fire trucks, concrete mixers, and suction excavators. In American English, a commercial vehicle without a trailer or other articulation is formally a "straight truck" while one designed specifically to pull a trailer is not a truck but a "tractor".
