Mine was because of the line from a poem I learned when I was 7 《悯农》-"谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦“ which means (this is translated literally by me) "who knows that the food on the plate, every grain came by hard work". My teacher showed us videos of old farmers getting rice under the hot sun, being very hardworking so that all of us can have food. I cried the sh1t out of myself and I didn't want to waste their hard work so I eat until my plate is clean. Then I found out that tractors exist... 👁️👄👁️ But still, food is food and we should be grateful for it, so please don't waste them!
