Don’t want to be a chat pro. But does anyone think Chidwick could fold 88 at 8:00 ? Facing UTG raise from a middling stack and a 3-bet in front from another one who has basically committed his stack into the pot, is the potential pay jump not more important than doubling from 2-4BB.

He can't know pardo would call the 3 bet. It was the right call considering his short stack. Most likely wouldn't get a better spot. He just had to get lucky.
