1:17 for anyone who might not know on bedrock Minecraft (at least on the consoles to my knowledge) there is an option to craft one and an option to craft all, which as the name suggests you use all the resources in your inventory to make as many of that item as you can, up to a stack.

I DO THIS A LOT. On PC, you hold shift while clicking so it automatically sends it to your inventory. It also insta crafts multiple of the same items based on what is in the crafting grid. IT IS SO ANNOYING
I use this feature a lot (I’m a bedrock player btw) but it’s never been a problem because I usually press the craft 1, I intentionally craft a stack or I just put 1 item in each slot

I actually made like 20+ hoes by accident one time out of either iron or stone, but I ended up using them all on a massive wheat/potato farm before eventually making everything automated, it ended up allowing me to trade an absurd amount of crops for emeralds and then emeralds for other stuff like books and gear and ended up being one of the best mistakes I've ever made. Checkmate Minecraft.
You can craft more than 1 stack at a time in bedrock, the crafting book is the only way to craft (well that's what I remember, didn't play it a lot). But in java, items are placed on the table so it simply can't because the book is an optional tool that only helps, it doesn't work the same way at all, but you can still make the mistake to craft a stack of a crafting table, it's just not like crafting your WHOLE WOOD STOCK into crafting tables in ONE CLICK

About that steve with too many crafting table, when you hold the crafting result in bedrock it will mass create that item using up all the materials placed in the crafting slots, it's very helpful when you want to create batch of items fast but also it's very easy to trigger

1:21 Phoenix, it’s not true on Nintendo Switch because by default the key for crafting as much as possible of an item is different from the key to craft only one of the item, so the only reason you would craft to many was if you misclicked
FYI on bedrock it’s supposed to be very easy to accidentally craft too much of an item
I've done this on switch many times. I just get in the habit of crafting a lot while I'm building or decorating and then when it's time to make tools I accidentally fill my inventory with stuff I barely need.
