isn't it wild that the frame at 16:44 is LITERALLY in sad-ist's final waltz? right before the battle begins, when the title appears, there's a shot of tommy and tubbo with their backs to the camera facing dream who has a jukebox just like this frame, and then it changes to them attacking dream in the disc saga finale. it really amazes me to think of how far we've come, how much happened and yet at the end it's still tommy and tubbo versus dream for the discs. it's poetic in its own way.

You know, I came back here for nostalgia. I never watched Dream SMP but my friends did, and they were fueled to introduce their own lore and rp in our server. I was confused about what they were talking about. I watched this and part 2, and I was also hyped. That kicked off the best year and a half of my life. Thank you Evan, for initating me.
What’s sad is that the smp itself ended on a bad note, with Alex(techno) dying, it sucks the way life treats things, especially good people.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how they recreated all the scenes and the smp so perfectly?

The evolution of tommy was huge, the dreamsmp changed him a lot, in the start where he was just an annoying kid, killing and being a problem, he became one of the most important people of the server, evolving into one of the "good guys" One of the best characters developmente ever.

Honestly I wasn't even truly apart of this when it was happening, but I can say that it was better back then. It was fun, it was enjoyable, it was just a fun story that some friends made. It feels like everything changed. People were pushed apart, people have been lost, people have been _hurt,_ yes, it's from a song but, wish we can turn back time do the good ol days. Rest in peace, and respect to all survivors, of any kind.

It's kinda weird. Because when you look at the early timeline of the origin and the l'manberg arc, most genocide isnt just Tommy wild genocide. He killed george a lot in the beginning... but the conflict really started with Ponk Alissa and Sapnap I think first... and Sapnap brought Tommy onto his side... and dream got involved and decided to punish Tommy by taking his disks, (which caused the next violence arc) rather than Sapnap Ponk and Alyssa too for choosing revenge and burning the tree... Then with the l'manberg... considering the smp was just supposed to be a community non violent server... it isnt a bad thing for people to want to be in groups. It's a bond. So Its kinda hypocritical to wage war on a group who wanted to do their own thing, and tried multiple times to settle without violence. When you look at it, even if they fought back because Alyssa was killed... Alyssa burned down their community first... I mean yeah it's a lot of Tommy... but I feel like it's on others for the situation rather than Tommy himself

During summer, I got through a few streams, but they weren’t any lore streams, so, I didn’t really learn much more about the lore. Im so glad these videos have been made because I don't know if I will ever be able to find all the streams meaning I can get more context for the few I have
I’m happy these videos of the Dsmp lore are created because I just got into the it. I’m to impatient watching all the streams that are like an hour long so watching these videos that are around 20 mins to an hour with all the lore is really nice.

@Speachless If they care about L'manburg so much they should be at least keeping it neutral with 2 superpower in the SMP (Dream and Techno), Tubbo failed to keep Tommy in check by letting him do as he please thus angering dream, Quackity make enemies of Techno by arranging the Butcher army. Most of them just want the taste of power, they doesn't really care much for l'manburg itself.
