Nurse Spiders have (In my opinion) officially turned Webber into the best tank in the game.
He's certainly up there. Heck, I was tame with my numbers too.

When i was fighting bee queen with nurse spiders,none of them lost loyalty with her scream attack,and just panicked instead
I have had the majority lose it every time I've tried. Not all as you can see, but most. That's why I said to do things come dusk to keep the lost ones in the fight.

As a Wurt main, I certainly feel salty right now. I really wish they give wurt more love. Heck, they didn’t even fix the problem where merms aren’t able to go home by themselves after losing loyalty.

Wurts still the best tree and marble chopper in the game if you want to spawn tree guards aswell,since there are loads of merms in the swamp

@@faselfasel2864 Not only that, they can probably flood the ruins with spooders too. It gets a lot cheaper and faster to build and upgrade spider dens. I’ve only tried webber once after the rework, and by day 13, I already had multiple level three spider dens and stacks of material to build even more dens. And if you really want to rush ruins ASAP, you can always just get a bunch of meat and recruit on the go. The good spiders are underground anyways.
You can even make a permanent healing station, all you need are two nurse spider and a chester. As nurse spider deals 10 each and chester regen hp for 22.5, the nurses will still do their healing animation.

Can we see a couple of Spider Queens against Fuelweaver perhaps? Like imagine they fight the boss while Webber does support stuff... I don't think the spiders would win at all, but it is an interesting idea to see several medium creatures in that small area

I'm honestly surprised some of his crafts aren't under magic. I get they are unique to him, but pacifying spiders with stickers is straight magic. Also I am surprised by his non violent back story, he doesn't have a damage penalty while attacking.

Get 5 to 10 nurses, and as many cave, spitter, shatter, and any other spiders for an almost perfect army.
3:02 if you feed an aggroed spider they will actually just instantly become loyal lol, no box required

Options. One safer than the other. It's why I don't recommend people making pigmen loyal or into a werepig when they're fighting us even though it's possible. It's funny but occasional impractical! :D

Spiders potentially eating deerclops eye (or guardian horn) almost immediately on death makes me apprehensive to use it against them ):
Have to use a Webby Whistle ASAP following a kill to prevent that from happening. That, or a panflute. Not great solutions but they are solutions.
Easy, don’t use them. Lead that icy bastard to dragonfly and wait until he gets destroyed. If the stuff burns up then close out and go back in (this is if you are in a solo world or a friends world)
Also beard when do you think they will fix the speed boost?
It was fixed since the realese of the rework,beard was just standing too much on the edge of the webbing
I found that the spider queen doesn't seem to have to be fighting the player to summon nurse spiders, or at least not directly. I took a spider from a nearby den and had it start a spider war with the queen, during which she called in a nurse. Just a tip to make the nurse rush less dangerous.
It's just combat, any combat!
I want to ask u something The Nurse recipe should be unlocked only after when i make a friend ship with nurse spider from the queen ?

Wait talking about hats do they get the defense bonus from them and all their Specialties from the hat or is it just Custom Design basically you're able to just put a hat on them but it doesn't do anything for them because if they do give their defense bonus why not just throw on a bunch of football helmets on cave spiders
They work but i dont think cave spiders can wear hats.

Yo gamer, any way to spawn spider queen earlier? I read dens have chance to upgrade when attacked But idk the chance n if it doesnt count when its Webber cuz I tried testing it
Never heard of dens upgrading on attack. This video here shows you how we can do what you're asking. Only Character capable of expediting anything in the early game is Webber.
@@TheBeard777 Ya it was weird cuz I found it on Spider Egg page but not on Spider Queen page This might of been updated out cuz I tested it as Webber and nothing. So unless it has to b another character

Nurse spiders only annoying when you play other characters but Webber. Two nurse spiders makes a whole pack of spiders and the Spider queen untouchable. I tried with a gang of Rock lobsters and they cannot kill a queen due to the massive HP regen.

Each sinkhole in solo DS leads to its own cave system, own ruins system and own labyrinth. So while the AG cannot respawn in solo DS you do have three of them to kill so there's that.

Nah, Phase 2 will destroy them easily and I don't even have to test it to know that. That spin move is too much.
Why not get a spear and just knock down the tier one nests?? Free glands, egg, silk, and meat! It's easy to kill two spiders
That's not the point... the point is to get guaranteed silk fast to upgrade another den just as fast.
@@TheBeard777 Yeah I get that but actually killing the weak spiders is better than wasting materials on the shoo box. You at least have a chance to get more silk and it only takes 10 seconds to kill them both with a spear

Sure, if you don't mind using resources on armor that you could just wear yourself.
