These are the same people that claimed white bread and chess are racist, among so many other utterly insane arguments, that, they could be used as satire for a novel.

  • The poor dude who has to cut his doomed friend made the right decision. It was matter of believing they would both die or the one the best chance of survival to try. Of course there was no hard feelings, his friend knew what decision he had to make. So sad but I’m incredibly happy they both made it

  • I have a little bit of a story. This is in fact a true story that happened to me when I was 19. I unfortunately have lost all of my photos of the event as well as dashcam footage. So back in 2013, I was driving my 2010 Chevrolet Impala down a windy road up in the mountains of South Carolina when from what I remember, the front left tire blew up and I instantly spun toward a cliff, as well as barely missing a semi truck, and I flew down the forest covered hill. It was like a 10 second fall and I landed roof first into the trees, one of which impaling the car through the passenger side. I had completely blacked out and when I woke up about 30 minutes later, my car was suspended up in the trees, windshield caved in, door locked shut, and my right leg was jammed into the floorboard which as opened up from the impact. I had also fractured my skull a little, as well as bursted a blood vessel in both of my eyes, as well as a broken collarbone and a fractured pelvis. Luckily the truck driver I mentioned earlier had called the cops and when I started trying to open the door to my car, I could hear people shouting. So obviously I yelled back and within about 5 minutes, police and firefighters had found me. I was finally freed and ever since, I’ve made a full recovery. I used to have photos and dash cam footage of the crash, but I’ve now lost that and I haven’t been able to find any images of it online. But either way, I’m alive. I’m now a 27 year old married man and have been living a good life. It’s like at that moment I had a guardian angle with me because experts who talked to me about my crash said I should have most certainly died upon impact, but the thick branches and trees, as well as the car getting impaled by a tree, cushioned the impact. If none of that had happened, I would have impacted the ground with full force on the roof, and that would’ve completely pancaked the car and would’ve killed me instantly. I’m still really glad to be alive. Remember folks, don’t take any day you get for granted, as the very same day could be your last. I hope you all have a great day.

Except it was a lot more freakish because it happened on a perfectly calm day, on a perfectly straight road, right out of nowhere. • Lol years ago me and my ex were driving there were very strong winds he was diving and I was front passenger in the car and a huge tree fell onto our car on the passenger side scared me half to death!! A main branch was less than 2 foot from my head as it came through the windscreen which was smashed through I had the tip of a small branch and leaves coming off the huge branch just touching or should I tickling my head 4 cm further that small branch would have gone through me along with another branch that almost impaled me through my chest !! . To this day I'm sure if we were in any other car than a volvo we would have been dead as it was the front windscreen frame of the car that stopped it crushing us I had to climb out the drivers side, he walked to the garage which was about two miles down the road, while I sat in the car, the car was fine new windscreen was put in that day we even drove it to the garage which had to come help us move the tree off the car as they owned equipment that could lift it off safely, after they helped us by removing the tree off the car and moving it so it couldn't cause any more accidents, the man from the garage who had helped us made sure we got to the garage safely and when he was giving me a cup of coffee with scotch in it to help with the shock he said which I'll forget " my god lassy your as lucky as a lucky rabbit foot although come to think of it that's not so lucky for the rabbit, anyway lass your damm lucky that you were in that volvo butt ugly those cars may be but they are built like a tank I'm telling you any other car young lass and you would be dead quashed flat, aye lassy your lucky to be alive right now , you want some more scotch in that coffee here you go lass now come with me and I'll show you what would have happened if you were not in that butt ugly car of his come on, i picked this up today a few hours ago before we helped you with moving that tree off your car " he took me to look at another car which had the same thing happen to it and the whole passenger side of that car was crushed and there was blood all over the seats and inside the car. He told me both front passenger and driver of that car were killed instantly the passenger been decapitated and driver crushed and impaled through the chest the 2 back passengers were also crushed and impaled !! so I was very lucky , I never complained about that volvo again although i hated that car it was such a awful looking car and the colour was dreadful lol

  • I can think of two stories that could be mentioned in this series: First is Commander Wenman Humfrey 'Kit' Wykeham-Musgrave, the man who survived three ship sinkings in a single day in WWI. He survived U9 torpedoing the Aboukir, was pulled aboard the Hogue moments before she was torpedoed as well, and then was pulled onto the Cressy before it too was torpedoed and sunk. He is the only man in history with the distinction of surviving three ships being torpedoed in a single day. Second would be Tsutomu Yamaguchi, the man who survived both atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the end of WWII.

  • I'm so glad that young lady was able to overcome being bitten by a bat. All those medications she had to take made me think of something... I have to take nearly 30 prescription medications per day, all of which are necessary to keep this organ going or that organ healthy or what have you... I'M ONLY 43 YRS OLD! I'm surprised I survive each day with all the side effects each one of these medicines have. Sometimes I consider stopping every single one of them just to see if I'd be better off. (I hope that made sense. I know there's a lot of backstory missing there but I didn't want to write a book and bore everyone to tears😏)
