I actually thought he would become an Arsenal legend after this season. It was a shame he left the way he did 😔
ArsenalVideosHD He already was a legend! But yeah I hate the way he left!!!😟😔
@OMER HD stfu
Is not a shame the way he left the club, I say this as an Arsenal fan, when Van persie left the club it was painful for me but I understood his decision and why he took the decision I blame the board of the club at that time they didn’t show ambition to challenge for trophies, they didn’t sign quality players that’s why many great players the likeness of Henry, Fabregas, Nasri, Van Persie and so on left the club , at the end of the day, great players need to win things and if you don’t show ambition they will leave.
Bro you did a crime imo you shouldn't had to create this video.sorry to say but yeah it's really bad
@@abdirahindahir4614 oh really have you read what had he said after leaving
The way Van Persie positions his body to hit the ball is so superb.
Such an elegant body shape.
His right foot was so underrated as well...
very underrated.
He used to call it his "chocolate foot"
When our club only looked to finish 4th place every season, to sell our 2nd and 3rd best players on the team, any ambitious player who looked to win trophies were definitely leaving us. That's why I will never blame RVP for leaving us.
I hate that he left us for United but we did lack ambition, I wish he went to City
@@sephiroth4543what a lose club mentality
He was questioning the board ambition so he left, we can call him any name we want, but the fact is he was proven right
They don't wanna be honest though. That's what annoys about our fanbase
Ka Chun Yuen True, buying Giroud and Podolski was not ambitious enough in my opinion. Even though Giroud eventually proved to be an excellent signing considering he costed 12 million and he was Ligue 1 champion and topscorer.
he says they didn't offer them a contract. The main difference between him and ramsey is that he was more of a star and didn't leave to a rival
The problem was not him leaving it was him joining United
@@hueyfreeman1983 absolutely
Will always remember this RvP masterclass 11/12 season. It was a joy
Nothing Beat that Hat-trick Against Chelsea... Always love him thou, one of the Best left shooter I ever seen!
It was my first time watching at least 90% of Arsenal's game so he was like a superhero for me, and always will be when i remember that season 👌🏾
Same
Even the season before.
Some players can be classified as either a great goal scorer or a scorer of great goals - but RVP was truly both this season. His absurd technique made pretty much every goal he scored seem like a work of art.
Henry, alexis, rvp all left because they didn't like the direction the club was going In. And they were all correct
FACTS!
And Auba is next
lol alexis went to a worse club thou
But if they stayed we would've stayed good

Still my favourite player in recent times despite what he did. Had unbelievable technical qualities
People call him a snake or judas but what he did is completely understandable. Arsenal had no ambition to seriously compete at the top so he left for a team that could (unfortunately it was our rivals)
@@danielo7985 and who wasn't arsenal's rival at the time? He only got 3 good offers. 2 from the PL and 1 abroad. Offer abroad was gone rather quickly, so he was left with 2 offers from respectively Man City and Man United (and no offer from his own club Arsenal). What the fuck could he have done otherwise? Getting tired of people blaming him for his choices, so dumb.
@@nuadu03 Not completely true. He is admired by all the Italian giants for over a decade. Its almost emberassing the kind of devotion they have for him. Especcialy the owners of inter and juventus. He choose to leave for ManU, and even later to Fener. They just love the elegant, technical players like him.
Spot on
When club is not interested in trying to bring quality players then obviously the best players will leave to search for gold not freaking silvers
I tried so hard to hate on this guy, but in the end I always find myself watching his Arsenal's highlight. I just can't hate this guy as much as I want to cause he definitely gives his everything for the club and all I gotta say is thank you RVP for all the moments that you have with Arsenal. Once a gunner always a gunner!
The club let him down
36 goals and 12 assists in one season 🤯🤯 legendary
His departure still hurts till this date
as a united fan, he was one of the best bargains ever! Van persie was a beast!
Well he wasted nine years at a shit club under a shit manager 😂😂 one year one EPL under GOAT

Athay Phom lol stfu ur team is basically bayern of england taking domestic talent while hurting ur main rivals thats some pussy shit 😂
His transfer to United still hurts me, my favourite Emirates era player. It’s a shame injuries wrecked the early part of his career because with him fit full time, we could have gone on to achieve so much more. I can’t hate him just because he was so good, it just hurts man.
Gervinho love to assist rvp. He was really good
gervinho? u mean alex song?
It’s gervinho
qizar 6 some gervinho some Alex song
dat minh if u think Gervinho was good for us u don’t know anything about football
Nuno Martins I’ve rewatched the majority of our games from 2011/12 season and he was better than what people think. He lacked end product but created so many chances from the left flank cause he was so good 1v1. The balance in our attack was so good with Gervinho on the left able to go inside and out with pace and dribbling quality, van persie up front with excellent movement and finishing, and Walcott on the right who was able to go in behind and create space for our midfielders. Underrated team
This man single handedly picked up Arsenal by the scruff of it's neck in the 2011-2012 season to get them a Top 4 place. Wow.
His left foot and finishing is so deadly, keeper barely can save,I still remember one match vs Liverpool,he score the winning goal from just two shot while Suarez get zero goal when almost having 10shot
We got battered that game. Still don't know how we won lol
Nostalgic Bliss True, the winning volley was absolutely beauty😂
@@nostalgicbliss5547 w
Nostalgic Bliss because of van persie
Suarez finishing is very poor even in barcelona
I expected 37 goals with that left foot. Surprised at how much he actually scored with his right
Yeah his right foot is much better than given credit for IMO
Man I never realized how insane the partnership between Gervinho and van Persie was...
It wasn’t insane loooooool. You don’t watch ball with your eyes.
@@francisdubem5084 What fan are you
If Gervinho was a better goal scorer who knows maybe arsenal would have challenged for the league almost every year
No he blended well with Alex Songs loop passes
Yeah at the time it was okay. At the time it was pretty decent. I wouldn’t call it “insane” though, Gervinho was just a decent supplier, that was his job, nowadays there are much better partnerships. Son and Kane for example, they genuinely know each other inside out. Chemistry is second to none.
please do an Alex Song video. I've never found a good comp of his arsenal days
I miss those over the top passes of his. We don't have those type of midfielders anymore. Sideways passing with no end product.
I second this motion
Yes please🙌
His 2011-12 season was inmense.
My all time favourite. I'm not even mad at the way he left, just shows the lack of ambition our club had in the last decade. Sad story, because he clearly was a great, great player. If only our club woke up in 2008 and not in 2018.
It is obvious that we all miss RVP and his finishing skill but I miss A. Song's lob pass as well.
Yeah he was so good in that season also as a CDM but also creative.
@@gautierh2486He learnt alot of Fabregas.
The way he moved to United was terrible, but I miss those days.

He left for a good reason, he did what was good for his career like anyone would
While he did leave us after this remarkable season, RVP, if only for one season, showed to us and to everyone else, what an absolute world beater he could have been had injuries not been so cruel to him. Technical mastery at its best.
He left to win a PL title which he did.
This was the arsenal player i became a Gooner for 10 years ago. He was a beast back in 11/12, a genuine world class player and a game changer. He could work out matches on his own, single handedly.
Volley Masterclass. Absolute legend RVP!
i remember thinking when he won the golden boot that season "yes! we can win the league next season(due to his current form that time)"...and then, well we all know what happened.
though I really thought we were going to win the league in the 2013/14 season. We were at the top, but we all know what happens when the 2nd half of the season arrives. 7 points off first in the end. The Ramsey Ozil duo.
Arsenal's fault for not showing ambition
@@mrty5213 Board's fault for not investing. Had we bought a (not Kallstrom) striker in January we would've wont it certainly.
Cazorla was a great buy so was podolski along with Giroud if van pussy stayed we would have won the league. Mertesacker and Kos were looking decent. Theo was on top of his game along Ramsey I’m 100 % sure we would of won the league. Liverpool almost did with a dead team except for Suarez and sturidge.

The story of Songs chip ball and RVP volley was such a treat to watch that, almost always when the dead lock couldn't be broken those 2 paired with the same kind of goal... Best part was Henry scoring and he ran and jump towards the King Henry 😭❤️
rvp was insane this season, he was scoring in literally every game and in a lot of matches the only scorer. Without him this season we probably would have been a mid-table club

he always acknowledges the assist after he scores, a good man he is. his volley shots are the best.
In a way u can’t blame him even tho he did what he did. How frustrating must it have been for him to see the team get progressively worse and worse with no investment and not challenging for trophies.

He left Arsenal at the beginning of the season, when we lost 8-2. His duo with Wolcott was something special, and Teo wanted him to stay, but he left and broke hearts of the fans, teammates and his coach
He used to be my fav player of the Emirates Era just wish we build him a team he deserved. 😔
His technique and finishing was peculiar, never seen in the premier league before

i honestly miss this guy, i know he left for united but he wanted a league title and arsenal at the time could not give him that. He had everything could dribble, finish sure he didn’t have electric pace but his positioning was so good he didn’t need it his technical ability was just unreal just sad injuries ruined what would of been ❤️

Don’t forget Walcott, he was huge as well
Robin Van Persie Legend⚽🔥🇧🇷👏🏼
Because of you i'm loving this club
Everytime he touched the ball, it was a goal!! My most favourite striker of all time, my man - Robin Van Persie
We never appreciated Walcott enough
Dick law said selling him for 25M to a rival was “good business”
Gifted the league to united 🤣🤣🤣
Well yeah business wise we made 22mil on him but football wise was a big mistake
One of the best quality of a legendary striker he is always on the right position
Finally it’s here ❤️
No doubt about his talent... BUT The way he left Arsenal was unforgivable. Arsène and Arsenal nurtured him, kept faith in him even through his many injury hit times. And when he got rhythm and showed his quality he refused to stay at Arsenal and chose our biggest rivals. I can’t forget how he celebrated scoring against us... DISGRACEFUL. Perfect example of MERCENARY!
I understand y he left but yh Van Pagen
He reveals why he left arsenal in the end of the Manchester United game this season in conference. I think He still loves arsenal.
You're a clown who doesn't understand football
Cant blame him for celebration after he got booed by gooners for scoring penalty against them
Had he’d left when we were bringing in big names and actually putting on a title run I would have agreed with you. But we weren’t and he wasn’t going to wait any longer in his prime. I don’t blame him, I blamed the club for not surrounding him with better talent.
Life was good back then.
Amazing, my favorite
He was unbelievable at his peak, what a striker! His departure cut deeper than the others..
